Is Netflix mostly for TV or Films? I signed up for a free trial and have been very disappointed with the film selection.
Also, it doesn't have any TV shows I haven't watched, want to watch or can stream from other (legal) TV network websites for free.

Can't really knock the free trial, without it. I would've signed up and been out of pocket. Cheers.

It can't really account for not having shows you haven't already seen.

I thought carefully about it and concluded it was the only way to write than sentence.

Netflix for Kids has been a life-saver over these rainy weeks. My daughter always wants to be outside, but can be easily distracted by their selection. Well worth the money :)

Any users of Unblock US come to a consensus on what region is best for (recent) films? My Playmo TV sub ran out, thought I'd switch....

Usually fluctuates between US and Canadian, but you can switch on the fly anyway...

Canada normally has the best selection in my view. As said above though it is pretty easy to swap on the fly. I just use my iphone to swap between regions

Ta. Interestingly, it seems you can no longer pay for a year up front on Unblock US...

Could anyone who has Netflix UK do a quick search for Parks and Recreations and let me know if any of the seasons are on there please? Thanks!

Thank you for looking! It's really irritating, it's not on NetFlix, not on iTunes, it's not even on DVD! I'd get it off the pirate bay, but it's blocked. Stupid country!

But would that allow me to watch Netflix US on my Xbox 360? I want to watch it on my living room tv you see.

Asha, I can watch us Netflix on my 360 - you don't even need to pay for unblock-us. Use some of the DNS codes from the first page of this thread

Check out Moreflicks to search all regions. Very handy for those using unblock us.

I've been trying out UnoTelly - does the same as UnblockUS and seems to give me access to some sites I was having problems with using UnblockUS.

They also do a rather good 'free month if you mention the site on a forum' promo - which is partly why I'm here, but mainly because I genuinely think it's good. :)

I just realised, Unblock US, switch the region in the website to Mexico and and the choice is even better than US site.

Moreflicks is great, search all regions and use unblock us to switch between them at will. Pretty much have every film and tv show ever.

Can video games be a force for good? My latest article says yes!

Now they just need to add a filter by release date and we're golden!

I had the US Netflix up until Tunlr stopped supporting Netflix, and it was okay but to be honest there was rarely a film on there that wasn't ancient. We used it mostly for TV, and even that we'd mostly seen it all. In the end we used it for endless South Park and when Tunlr quit we just bought South Park and ripped it to the hard drive next door, done.

How much better is Canada and Mexico, then?

UK Netflix is possibly the biggest waste of money on the internets. Well maybe not that bad, but pretty close.

Any Netflix library in the world for a couple of quid a month? Gimme!

Dexter is always a bit crap really, if you think about it. He always gets away by the skin of his teeth, and when he does seem to get caught, he almost always gets away with it by the end of the episode.

And yet I still really enjoy it! Glad it's finished now though, was getting way formulaic.

I absolutely adore Dexter. Season 5 is the worst of the lot, as Lumen is such a bloody dull character, but it's still better than most other programmes.

Plus Season 6 is fantastic again!

Personally I thought six was terrible as well, especially the last few episodes.

Careful people, no spoilers remember. There are some of us that are a good 2-3 seasons behind on each TV series (and that's why Netflix is so brilliant....once I clear the backlog on my Sky+)

I have only seen the first few episodes of season 5. I have heard bad things about it but I am still a bit excited
