    It is in the US so I can't see that being different for the UK.

    The Xbox app is now really good. Fuck knows what your selection is going to be like. If it's like the US you're totally set if you like watching documentaries, TV shows and shitty straight to DVD (stream) flicks, along with some older films and a smattering of newer, desirable filums.

    Initial buffering is usually quite low-res, give it 30 or so seconds and the picture cleans up nicely.

    Does it have the new Battlestar and the Sopranos ?

    I've miss them after moving to Virgin Media who don't have Sky Atlantic.

    Some great films and TV but a lot missing. Streaming to my work laptop is very good on the HD content. Starts off very pixelated but after about 20 seconds it locks in and looks very good for a stream.

    Can't see myself continuing long with it though really. There are some TV shows on there I haven't watched, so may run through those then cancel. A lot of things I have randomly searched for simply aren't there, unlike say Spotify which fulfils most of my music needs.

    Will still be buying BR disks for a while yet, and always will for my favourites, but not ruling out a streaming service being my day to day format if they can expand the library.

    Logged into US Netflix with a VPN, and whilst the selection is much lager, it won't play anything reliably so no use there.

    Overall I am impressed with the video quality, but will have to wait to get home to try it through the amp to test the sound. There are just too many holes in the library at the moment though.

    It has the first three seasons of Breaking Bad, though, doesn't it?

    Is there any Boardwalk Empire up yet? Any HBO at all?

    Thinking about it don't Sky have exclusive rights for HBO content including on demand?

    It's all on Sky Atlantic which is on the Sky Player.

    Yup Breaking Bad 1-3

    There's more than enough to keep me busy for a month or two. Much better selection than Lovefilm online imo.

    Cant wait to get stuck into Weeds and The Thick of it.

    Can anyone confirm if Breaking Bad season 3 and 4 are on the Uk version of this? That will decide if I sign up or not.

    The Netflix website is disgracefully bad. The "browse our selection" tab only shows a sample of their offerings, with no option to delve further. And lemme tell ya, that sample is pretty much the biggest pile of direct-to-carwash-bargain-bin shite I've ever seen.

    Seriously, if you were a potential customer it'd put you right off unless you were in the market for the shittiest film choice out there.

    It is very poor indeed. Why they don't let you use the whole site, but simply not let you watch anything I have no idea.

    Just signed up. Not much brand new stuff but a very wide selection with a lot of quality. I think it's more a case of browsing and finding something you fancy as opposed to looking for somethng specific, but it looks much better than the Lovefilm selection.

    Do you only get the 1 month free trial if you sign up through Facebook? Or can you just create a Netflix account with your email address and go from there?

    Trying this out for a month, might as well.

    I've cancelled our Sky as we hardly ever watch it. I actually used to use the Sky app more, in recent months, so I suspect this will be more use to me and is much cheaper. Will see that the catalogue is like just before that month is up, to see if I'll keep it going.

    I went through Netflix.ie and it tells me there is a month free trial there, so Facebook isn't required
