From what I understand its basically customer returns and shop soiled items being resold at cheaper prices? Part of Amazon so you have a 30 day money back guarantee.

    Anybody ever used them?
Perhaps a little tardy but I buy from them all the time. You can really trust their description too. Like new is immaculate and very good is anyone else's like new ;-)

Have had nasty stickers on games in the past though.

Borderlands 2 is 66% off on Steam. That makes it £10.19

    Great game!

    Cheaper on GMG:

Also, Dark Souls on PC for the frankly ridiculous price of 4.92:

Just happened to go past Blockbusters, here in Gloucester, and saw they had up to 50% off on games and films, definitely worth taking a look if there's still one open near you.

I picked up Star Wars Complete Saga blu-ray for 40.57 (57.95 - 30%) and Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow blu-ray (last time I tried finding it online there were no copies available) for 6.97 (9.95 - 30%).

I also noticed Lumines (Vita) for 6.50 (12.99 - 50%), Heroes of Ruin (3DS) for 13 (25.99 - 50%) and Star Fox 64 3DS for 10.50 (20.99 - 50%). Plenty of other stuff reduced across all formats, but I had to stop looking otherwise I would have probably bankrupted myself.

Sorry, it's 1p more. I realise that could be a dealbreaker for some.

Ah, was it a doozy? I thought it reviewed well, but must be thinking of something else. I like your filtration system though!

Why is it that buying a steam key from cdkeys.com for e.g. Bioshock Infinite is cheaper than buying it directly from Steam? Trustpilot says it's legit but something seems fishy.

Outside of a sale Steam is usually the most expensive place to get a game, not unusual.

I personally wouldn't trust a website that had no proper company name, registration number, or contact address - especially if said site registered a domain via a proxy service.

That said, if they've been going for some time the chance of them disappearing overnight is lowered. The codes would be priced by the publisher and often the cheaper websites will buy them from distributors in countries where the game would be cheaper rather than the country they are actually in, "grey-imports" in effect.

And its 520 points/ 4.99 for 'Alan Wake" GOD on there too.

Thinking it might be rude not to at that price.

@northernlights I can't budget for that right now, but looks like the game is getting down to that price where I'll hand over the cash. Give it a couple of more months and I think I'll buy it :)

    Me too, thanks!

Could be a pricing error though and likely will get savaged as usual with these deals, so it might get cancelled.

Tiny warning about buying pre owned from Blockies. I had to go to the depot and pay postage as they hadn't stuck enough stamps on the envelope, I kid you not.

I didn't learn and placed another order. The games arrived but the discs were in an awful condition. I wasn't expecting pristine but they were so bad I doubt I could have sold them on myself.

Luckily they do have a freepost returns address.

Definitely buyer beware. For the record the games were Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Donkey Kong Country Returns.

    Carry on!

Yeah, buying pre-owned stuff from Blockbuster is a complete crapshoot. I've had everything from new and sealed games to scratched to fuck ones missing their manual.

Yeah, Donkey Kong Country Returns had no manual for me either.

What the hell? Is there some hidden catch? (Aside from Resurrection being in the set). That seems almost too good to be true.

You could buy this boxset, watch it, then get 8 part exchange for it at CEX!

Nah, I picked it up for a similar price a while ago. When places have surplus stock, you do get the odd crazy bargain.

The first Castlevania game for Xbox was 7 in CEX. Didn't think that was bad, as it's two discs and a console exclusive, and apparently a blinding game.

If you're a wrestling fan, Mick Foley's The Three Faces Of Foley is going for a quid new in pound shops.
