Sainsburys are selling 250GB 360s for 159.99 which I think is a bargain.

That does seem good. How would you transfer the stuff on your hard drive across though?
I think i've heard that they can do it in-store. I'm going into town tomorrow anyway so i'm going to pop in and ask about that. If not you should just be able to do what monkehhh says though or even an external hard drive of some kind.

How much storage are you allowed on the cloud? Also, how would you use a memory card to transfer the data?
    Thanks for the answers

I just stuck an empty USB memory stick into the port on the Xbox, let it format it, then transferred all my saves and profiles onto it. It's pretty straightforward, thankfully.

Cloud storage for saves is ample but not every game is transferable. USB is an option if you want to swap bigger files. Put what you wanna keep on it, take it out, trade console, put in the new one.
    Too slow as usual lol

Oh, and either wipe it yourself or make certain that the people in the shop wipe it. They weren't best pleased that I'd already wiped mine but I wanted to be completely sure.

Edit: You said things I didn't say, waggy, so I wouldn't call that too slow. :)

Regular request this, but has anyone seen any decent offers for XBL Gold renewals? Would prefer to buy a card (rather than code) as I may not activate it till post-xmas (I've a raft of SP games to get through in the meantime).

Best I've seen seems to be the 29.99 on Amazon for 12 months. Just wanted to check I'm not forgetting somewhere obvious....

    Why look, it's a blog:

    Good shout.

Looks like I can get 12 months for 25.99(ish) or 14 months for 28.99 - both of which are better than established online sites. Only snag is having to buy from faceless ebay sellers, but I guess you're reasonably safe when buying through someone with 99.9% positive sales on 8k+ reviews...

@evild_edd Tesco are doing Black Ops 2 tomorrow for 25 when bought with a 25 2100 Xbox points/PSN card. I plan on buying the PS3 version of the game but can see if they'll let me buy a 25 360 card with it if you want, which I'll give to you at a discount?

I don't spend money on PSN/Live so I plan on selling the card. Not sure if the 2100 card is the one you're looking for so let me know.

    @SuperCoolEskimo

Hello mate. Thanks for the offer but it's the Gold annual membership I'm after (as opposed to marketplace XBL/microsoft points).

    Thanks for the offer anyway.

P.S. Might still be interested in the points card if you're getting one anyway. They normally retail around the 16 mark (online stores inc. postage). How much would you want for it (including postage)?

I can't honestly remember if this had been posted before, but if you like your games with extras, Agarest 2 Deluxe Edition is now 29.86 on Shopto.

Given its original RRP that's a pretty good price, although Shopto were the only retailer who got to sell it aside from Ghostlight themselves.

Dishonored on Xbox 360 is currently 20 in Morrisons.

I'll be having myself some of that! Was waiting for a decent drop in price before taking the jump.

    Re gold membership, eBay everytime.
Re memory transfer, just a cheap USB stick works.

@evild_edd Just got back from Tesco, they wouldn't sell me the XBox 360 points with the PS3 version of Black Ops 2 unfortunately, the guy said I had to get the PS3 card with the PS3 version of the game.

So, for anyone who wants it, I have a 25 PSN card, will sell for 20 including first class recorded postage. Please DM if interested.

@YenRug i got a black one, they had blue available too. To be honest, I would be happy to use a pink controller at home if it saved me 20

Were they 17 in store? I went on their websites, to do a reserve and collect, but it was only pink ones showing at the 17 mark, the white and black ones were 40. Whilst it would be only for use at home, I really cannot stand pink as a colour, it's not just a fear for my masculinity.

I picked up a COD blops on PS3 but they only had MS points in stock (which they let me have instead). So does anyone want to take 2100 microsoft things off of me? I have literally no idea what they are worth as I don't own a 360!
