    Did anyone else order this? I did but they sent me the standard edition instead of the limited. Anybody else have this problem?
    YES! Mine arrive this morning and I could have sworn when I ordered it, it was the Limited Edition. Haven't opened it, so may send them an angry email later.

    If you ordered the Limited Edition, and the Limited Edition has not yet arrived, then it's an AWOL package.

    Nice of them to send you an extra copy of the vanilla edition to tide you over until the LE arrives, but if it hasn't arrived in a week or two, tell them your order hasn't arrived*. :)

    *This advice is only to be used when dealing with lying, cuntish retailers.

    Hi guys! Bah, seeing as I'm the one who linked to the deal I'm a bit pissed that Tesco did this, sorry about that :-(!

    I too received the 'standard' version of the game on Friday last week having ordered the 'Limited Edition' at the advertised special price, so I immediately sent them a respectable but firm e-mail saying I wasn't happy... no reply as of today. So I phoned them this morning instead and was told that in the next couple of days they will be e-mailing a 'Limited Edition' content code to me, and I assume everyone else who ordered the Limited Edition but received the 'standard' edition. If in doubt, phone them to make sure you get yours too, the guy seemed to know what I was asking about so I reckon they know what they've done.

    I'm guessing here, but the Limited Edition is no longer in stock over on their site, so I reckon they had a tiny amount of stock of that version and therefore shipped us all a standard edition and planned to email codes after. It's just a shame they didn't contact us to let us know that's what they had planned or given us the chance to cancel if we so wished, pretty damn poor really and a bit dodgy for such a big name like Tesco. They also make you pay postage to return stuff to them, seemingly regardless of whether they make a mistake or not!? You'd think Tesco could do free-post return labels like most other online 'game' retailers I've dealt with. So I'd say keeping the game and waiting for a 'LE' code seems the best option, unless you really want the box-art with 'Limited Edition' written on it. May be my first and last order with them because of this too, oh well :|

    @Rodriguez Don't worry dude, hardly your fault! Thanks for the update though. I logged an issue with my order via the website, so I'll wait and see what they say. Not that fussed about the packaging as long as I can get hold of the code (and hence, the content that I've paid for). If I at least get the code, that's a far better (less hassleful) outcome than having to send it back! Presumably the code is the only real different between standard and LE?

    @Rodriguez

    No worries dude, it's not your fault.

    What was the number you contacted them on? I don't think the limited edition adds that much extra but if that's what they tell you you're buying then that's what they should send you!

    But without you posting that up i wouldn't have bought it at least for a whileif at all. So thank you as it's now one of my favourite ever games!

    Hi asphalt! Yes, the Limited Edition just had some extra DLC content (which the code should cover) ;)

    @Sunno

    Hi Sunno, their customer service number is: 0845 600 2722. (on a side note they have a whole automated number 'option' dedicated to Mass Effect 3, heh WTF!?)

    The points you make are pretty much exactly what I said to them in my initial email, that I paid for the Limited Edition as was advertised, not the standard one! Just hope we all get our codes now ;)

    Not really fussed, glad to get it at that price, so the DLC will just be awesome sauce on top.

    FIFA 13 Ultimate Edition (360, but PS3 works too AFAIK) is 39.98 when you enter the code SETOK12 at Sainsbury's Entertainment. Don't know if they'll honour it, but worth a go.

    No offence to those waiting but i'm kinda glad its held its value. I always feel awful when a game i buy at launch drops exponentially a week after i buy it!

    If its any consolation, It's an awesome game - well worth full price :)

    :)

    Does a quick price drop matter if you really enjoy it though? Borderlands 2 will get thoroughly played and all DLC bought by me. I only worry if the price drops quickly if I want to sell it on asap after finishing it and am unlikely to replay it.

    N.B. With the above statement, I may be covering myself for buying Binary Domain at 30-odd quid and still never having opened it yet...

    A quick price-drop on FFXIII-2 annoyed me - I thought 16.85 so soon after launch was a great price, but ten days later when it arrived, it was 11.86! Then dropped and dropped to 7.85.

    Not so bad... except it was completely region-locked, unlike XIII, and I don't have a PAL 360! :p

    Anyway, nice new Transformers: Fall of Cybertron on PC is down to 18.95 already, and I think it's Steamworks.

    Borderlands 2 Xbox 360 at Asda for 34.95. You get the pre order premium club stuff as well.
    Not a massive bargain, I know. But made me smile when I picked it up yesterday.

    Probably a bit late but my copy certainly turned up yesterday, 18 quid with the Premium Club code was rather nice. It's rare that a company will actually honour their cock-ups.

    I do wish that I'd ordered Forza Horizon at the same time though.
