Despite launching on multiple formats, Ubisoft's Tintin film tie-in The Secret of the Unicorn failed to make the top 40 altogether.
I haven't played or got it yet, but I have trouble believing that this should have happened. The game in the trailer seemed worth more.

People probably want to see the film first.

Impulse purchase time for me here. Just spotted this on Play.com's Monday Deal thing. New copy for £14.99 seemed like a cheap enough price for some old school platforming fun.

    360 version

    PS3 version

Despite the hellish clutter of this period of the gaming calendar, this may be a nice tonic to all the 3+ hour Skyrim/MW3/BF3 sessions....

    Why look, it's a blog:

    Also £14.99 on Amazon

    Edit:
    Correction

PS3/360 is £14.99 at Play - Wii version is £28 for some reason

Wii version at Amazon is £14.99

Nice - it wasn't when I looked this morning (think it was £20?), so I assume they've price-matched it for the rest of the day....

What are the differences between home and portable versions.

    @Trafford: no worries :0)

@CrispyXUK: No idea on the differences between versions - the EG 7/10 review doesn't seem to differentiate (360 version tested). The 360 box displays a "better with kinect" banner, but I can't see a mention of this in the review either. Not that I have a kinect sensor anyway but some of you may have...

So they're the same game? I thought the 3DS version was all 2D platforming so I'd buy that over the home console version if that was the case.

Isn't the home console game 90% 2D platforming also? Just with some ill conceived 3D connecting minigames added into the mix?

No idea, which is why I'm asking :)

I'd suggest watching a video, looking at screenshots, or just typing the name of the game into Google. It'll be an illuminating journey of discovery, you lazy, lazy git! :)

Not sure of its 2D only but the 90% platforming and the ill conceived linking sections, match up to the reviews that I've read.

3D graphics but 2D gameplay, at least from my exposure to it at the Expo and all the videos that have been released. And the pictures on the back of the box. :)

    Anyone got this on PC?

I'm trying to find out what DRM is on it. So far all I can find out is that Gamersgate claim it has TAGES but no word on if it's the old set amount of activations (which I won't touch) or the newer resetting activations. Tried posting on Ubi but getting no help so any info someone could give is much appreciated!
