    It will come to consoles but you should buy a PC anyway. ;)

    I can state with almost total certainty that the console version won't be doing 64 car, multi-class races at Spa.

    I think i am heading towards saving for a Fanatec for my bday in August almost entirely in anticipation of this game.

    I wouldn't be too bothered if Laguna didn't make it, it's been in just about every racing game ever made and although it's fun to hotlap, it's rotten to race on.
    Zandvoort's similar in that respect (zero overtaking) but it has to be my favourite track to run laps on in iRacing, it's like a rollercoaster!

    I bought a set of their clubsport pedals last week, the load cell in the brake is superb and I'm delighted with them but I've heard scary reliability issues with their wheels.

    Unfortunately they are still the only option for using cross-platform with xbox360

    Near as makes no difference really yeah. The best silly acronym i know of is from my office...

    We use a bit of software whose acronym is PSS-SOF. commonly known as PissOff! :D

    Have to say, the new build has taken this to a new level for me!
    I'm now getting a steady 60fps in DX9 with medium settings and the FFB feels a lot better than it did a month or 2 ago.
    The dynamic time changes are a joy to behold and the new content is getting pumped out at an astonishing rate.

    I'm still getting some nasty input lag in the DX11 version but it seems to be related to the FPS and not something fundamental like before.

    The old banking at Monza is sitting there begging to be raced on but is teasing me through some impenetrable gates at the moment.

    My favourite cars are still the old Loti, the 68 (49?) and 77 (79?) being particularly drivable. The attention to detail on the car models is amazing.

    HOTLAP COMPETITION TIME!

    Under the events section there is currently one running for the Lotus 49 (erm... Leonus 68) going round that lovely new French country road track. Current world record is 1.51.xxx and I have posted a miserable 2.01.xxx to get the ball rolling!

    There was a patch for team member+ on Monday which added this event I think. It's open for the next week or so.

    I haven't really played with the Lotus cars much but I do love Rouen so I'll give that a go at the weekend.

    I'm down to a slightly more respectable 1.56.001 now.

    I think I can still find a lot of time by playing with the diff settings.

    In the setup, I advise taking 75% of your fuel out, this will still give you 5 flying laps. Also the 5th gear is too long, so shorten it a notch.
    I reduce the steering ratio too, but that's just personal preference, it won't affect the handling.

    My effort for the F68 Hotlap event. 1:52.757



    Still a couple of seconds off alien pace. I used the default setup except for 7kg of fuel and lowering the final drive to minimum.

    I must say, the FFB in the F68 feels great. Much better than the other cars I've tested in build 175.

    I'm down to 1.54.4 now, still some time to be found!

    Anybody tried the new coastal road tracks in today's build?

    They are absolutely beautiful and at nearly 10 minutes long make for great point to point races.
    Suzuka has also been added although at this early stage some parts seem a bit off in terms of elevation and camber.

    The Azure track was really good fun, nice looking and ran smoothly too which was a bonus.

    Absolutely hated the California track though, hairpin, hairpin, hairpin, another damn hairpin. Finally got to some fast bits and hit an invisible wall of death, took me a while to figure out i'd gone the wrong way.

    Did some 64 car races at Road America yesterday with the field set to random and there were dudes in little go karts getting pinged into the walls by hulking great sports cars :D

    Azure Coast is brilliant, I'm really glad they've decided to put some point to point races in as sims seem to neglect them for some reason.

    Now to plug the wheel in and give the Lotus event a go...
