I would recommend a back-to-back episode of Great British Bakeoff and Cupcake wars on the food channel.

The only show to make me shout "IT'S ONLY A FUCKING CUPCAKE!"

Tell you what, James's barn turned out bloody well. Loved the spider webs.

To be fair, Cathryn made the decision easy for them; she really didn't have a good couple of days.

I would have eaten that entire barn thing. He did a great job of pulling it back from the brink of disaster. i like that kind of "yeah I meant to do that" approach

When I saw the size of the structure I thought 'christ, thats ambitious' and he did pull it back.

I was in awe of brendans until the judges started to stick the boot in, which made me think 'yeah, shreddies are a bit shit..'

Yeah in the end, it was just a simple house but done up to the MAX with other shit. James's barn was far more intricate and interesting.

It was a mess! As were his crackers. Yet somehow, he's star baker. Guess I'm no expert.

They did say they would tear apart simple gingerbread houses, which that was, as lovely as it was.

The gingerbread buckingham palace was at least a fair attempt at doing something.

The Colosseum was my pick of the bunch. That was really cool.

IMO, his barn was the best, he won the technical challenge and his crackers weren't great, but not a catastrophe.

Whaaat??? The cobwebs alone were brilliant! I loved his turning a disaster into something he meant to do. He can be pretty funny as he always tries to push the boat out and it either ends up great or a total disaster. :)

Brendan's birdhouse was just an overdone house, which they asked them not to do.

I am sorry to see cathryn go, since she was lovely, but she had an absolute nightmare and was pretty much the only candidate to get the boot.

I can't find a picture of it. It's funny though, it seems any google search related to Bake Off will show results related that squirrel with the massive bollocks

I'm actually quite inspired to build a gingerbread house/structure for the kids for xmas now. Could be a really fun thing to do together.
