Why are people not watching this!!! This has been one of the best starts to a TV show EVER. And the finale is just round the corner.
Well, it is a bit of a slow burn in the first couple of episodes, so maybe that's understandable. But don't worry, this will probably turn into a "can't miss" show for a lot of people eventually.

I've been interested from its announcement but too busy to follow right now so I'm waiting for the Channel 4 airing.

Things have really hotted up the last few episodes! Any body watching this still? The IGN review wasn't overly impressed with bits Review - Representative Brody They say that they think it's got a bit farfetched. I disagree.
What are you doing reading IGN :)

This is where I go to to discuss my favourite TV shows. And Homeland is now among them. What a terrific first season.

Sweet, IGN is convenient, plus I didn't really look anywhere else tbh. AV Club looks great tho. Thanks for that!

Have only watched the first episode, but I am intrigued already. Steering well the fuck clear of spoilers, though.

I just blasted through the entire series in a weekend. Great stuff. The bunker scene was the most intense thing I've watched in a long time (apart from Breaking Bad). Damian Lewis is fantastic.

But one thing is annoying me, what was the deal with the couple and that house in the middle of the series? It was a very '24' we-make-everything-up-as-we-go-along esque plot hole.

Also, Claire Danes makes the weirdest facial expressions.

Well deserved Golden Globes for best drama and Claire Danes. Damien Lewis must also have been in with a good shout but some tough competition in the best actor category.

Just ran through this in a few weeks. Excellent. Was a bit so so in the beginning then just gets better and better. Great ending scenes.

Looking forward to series 2. Not a fan of theold convenient memory loss but at least it's somewhat connected to her problem rather than banging her head.

Just blasted through this show in a few days. Awesome stuff, Claire Danes is an excellent actress. I'm loving how dark this series is, no easy wins for any one :)

Brilliant show but can't help thinking they wussed out at the end. Probably at the exact time they got commissioned for a second season.

I'm confused. Had he been held prisoner since the end of the second world war?

No, WW1. He was serving for the Russians, but got captured by the Germans. They held him captive because of a dispute over some unpaid Strudel.

    The Kaiser was pretty brutal.

    Major spoilers -
Totally agree about the bunker scene, was incredibly tense, I needed a nap afterwards. Also agree about the plot hole. I assume that the couple are (well the girl) coming back later, as it wasn't really confirmed what their deal was, especially the girl and why their cell was being eliminated, and they're the key to finding out who the mole is. (It better not be Mandy Pantkin!)

Clozapine can give quite a lot of involuntary facial tics, I think her weird expressions are very good acting.

And I though the wiping was a great touch. No time for a shower but been out shagging? Quite swipe and off to work.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

It also makes you big huge fat ugly bastard, but I see they sacrificed that particular nod to realism.

I don't think she eats much. And she obviously gets a lot of exercise.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

Yes. Autocorrect is disgusting at times. Quick, obviously. Not quite.

Ho-hum, I enjoyed this but I feel it could/should have been braver. It would have been great if they went ahead with Brody going ahead with the suicide bomb, don't you think?

Watched the first episode last night having sky+'d it. Looks like it could be rather good.

It's been a long time since I watched a series on TV that really grabbed me enough to watch all of it.
