The pacemaker business reminded me of when they could just unplug people in the Matrix and they would drop dead.|
This is getting a bit ridiculous but at least it's watchable unlike Dexter.

That was a bit silly but still hanging in there.
I wonder if there is more to the special ops side than just kill him.
Actually, thinking about it it seems they're tying everything up...
Dana & Finn will go to the police on their own accord, Jessica and Mike will get together and Brody and Carrie can easily just disappear with some bullshit cover story about them dying or something...
Maybe Quinn will let them go, maybe the other recovered dude will shoot Quinn and blame it on Nazir or whatever...
Saul will take over for Estes and everything works out...
Terrorist dead, evil presidential candidate dead and all main characters happy...
Only thing that could make it better for me is if Dana and Jess somehow both die in a bizarre accident or whatever...

Pacemakers are hackable -- new ones have remote access systems to be adjustable by doctors. You generally have to be in close by to get access, as they're controlled by short-range radio transmitters.
Your forgetting it's a popular show and they will want another series.
I wouldn't be surprised if they somehow made him a presidential candidate. I'm thinking they will turn it on that black ops team who had a long term goal that involved Nazir or the area the strike happened. It feels like there is a bigger goal from some shady people we haven't seen yet.

Next series is already confirmed.
That was a great episode. I feel a game changer is now in order next week!

Stay away from Digital Spy. On the front page, while not directly spoilers, they allude to things happening in the finale.
Fucking useless as always.
I'm watching this at UK pace and not entirely sure why. Fast forwarding all the Dana stuff and waiting for more Mandy to make 'em see sense. Been disappointed with this second series but I'll see it through to the end.
It has to be Brody for president at this point...
I wouldn't want to see them try passing off Nazir as just an underling for the real bad dude or something...
Or maybe Roya will reveal Nazir had a beardless twin...
In any case it hasn't been as good as the first season so far and some of the characters are just strangleworthy...
The way they tied the two seasons together was masterful. Slightly disappointed Carrie didn't go with Brody - a third season of her vs Saul would have been pretty damn good. But still looking forward to this a lot more than I am Dexter, which has just been two shit seasons in a row.
UK Pace here - i thought that was contrived to the point of ridiculousnessness.
Yeah just watched the finale. It really started to stretch things a bit too far. They started to ingonre procedure in favour of.. yeah 24 logic, which is frustrating as the first season worked with taking this seriously. I mean you wouldn't let such an unstable woman after being held captive anywhere near an interrogation
And the re-entering of the building, just how all other fbi team go ahead, leaving the other two behind. As soon as you noticed a new room, you don't do it alone, there are things called procedures etc
Quite like the tying up of saul. The tension between him and estee next season could be great.
Not as great as the first, but had some great moment this season, a solid 7/10
I'm... not sure you've just watched the finale.
I didn't think i had. I'm glad you pointed that out. When i played the episode back it said 12/12 and i swore that it said 10/12 last week. Whats even worse, the series link on my sky box had thought it was 12/12 and hadn't even set the next one on record.
fuck tards. So anyone series linking it, check it hasn't flumped it up.

Poor Brody. lol
Well. That was good. Saul though, clever misdirection, but also a good chess player if not haha!
Well, looks like no Brody for president after that one...
An interesting turn of events, but surely now it'll turn into a regular terrorist hunt series instead of the "is he/isn't he", "will he won't he" tension up to this point?
I'm glad they got rid of the Waldens, if only they could do the same to Brody's family...
My money is on Danny being the mole.
@rodpad To be fair,They did imply his muslim 'sympathies' during the very first few episodes of season one. But I love him, and wouldn't like to see him as an antagonist. His 'speech' to Carrie in the corridor was superb
@TheSaint If not, He's going to be a bit pissed that he'll think Brody DID blow up the CIA after he let him go.
More likely Brody is still a terrorist, he did become uneasy even before noticing his car and possible he handed his keys to that guard in the car park. We don't know for sure what happened to him when the helicopter picked him up and perhaps that is when the bomb was planted in his car. He also seemed quite hateful during the speech at the CIA, even more so as it was explained it wasn't just the VP so I think he knew the plan all along.
He does have feelings for Carrie but still using her and I think she knows he is still dodgy but playing the long game now, bet there is some tracking stuff in the goodies she gave him.

Yeah Quinn was a bit like his Dexter namesake at first but got better towards the end.
Wouldn't make sense to burn Brody publicly if that were the case...
I was thinking her quick change of mind was just her coming to the conclusion, bigger fish to fry.
