Great Manchurian Candidate feel so far, superb acting from some of my favourites. Hopefully will be a nicely contained, grown-up run. Would hate to see something like this descend into 7 series mediocrity.

Morena Baccarin.
She doesn't even look any different.

At the moment, I'm certain I'll watch the second episode but I have so much Fringe to catch up on as well as numerous other shows. -

I couldn't say for sure one way or the other at present. It is the only new show I've bothered to start watching so far this year but it also seems rather good so far, worth a spin anyway I reckon. -

Registered 2 years agocertainly not able to fill breaking bad, but it's quite good.
sort of straddles a line inbetween dumb CSI-type shows and upper market ones.
possibly comparable to NYPD blue, with a crapper setting. -

hmm Damian Lewis is a brilliant frontman judging from his past tv roles, who deserves another big role. He should be a Jack Bauer type not a bad guy, here's hoping there's some sort of twist that he's really a double agent working for the good guys. -

When does it air in the Uk anyone know? 91 metarating for a first season is impressive.

Registered 5 years agoI think they're to-ing and fro-ing a bit too much now. Is he bad? No! I mean..Yes! I mean..No! I mean..Yes! Wouldn't be so bad except they've done the switcheroo in the last two minutes of the episode for the past four episodes or so.GHOSTBUSTERS

Registered 6 years agoIts still good my theory is:
Brody is being setup as an ambassador between the US and terrorists to find a "peace treaty". His mate Walker has been lead to believe Brody "turned" on him, the reason for Brody trying to kill Walker when they were initially captured.
Walker will try to assassinate Brody in the mistaken belief that he's doing the right thing. The terrorists will try to use Brody's assassination as an excuse to mount a full blown war/attack as Brody the peace treaty ambassador was assassinated by a US soldier, Walker.

Registered 5 years agoHuh Weazle? I don't think that's gonna happen.
Anyhow, this show is immense, they don't dawdle on stuff and nearly every minute is used to explain or introduce a new plot point. It makes you think with plenty of pretty hard to watch moments and is fast becoming one of my favourite shows. I didn't like the concept, and am not big fan of war related dramas but this pulls something new out of the bag.
Highly recommend! -

Registered 5 years agoThings have really hotted up the last few episodes! Any body watching this still? The IGN review wasn't overly impressed with bits Review - Representative Brody They say that they think it's got a bit farfetched. I disagree. -

Registered 5 years agoGreat episode, but I wouldn't call it much of a finale. Whilst there were revelations there was no real closure, just the beginning of a bigger story arc.
But I've really enjoyed this show, it's left me wanting more.GHOSTBUSTERS

Registered 7 years agoI expected a better finale. The vest malfunctioning was stupid, Dana being able to speak to Brody while they were on lockdown doesn´t make much sense and the possible amnesia for Carrie seems like something out of a soap opera.

I might have been watching too much Dexter but I have not had one thing in this entire season not sit right with me. A Perfect 10 from me. Not sure how Season 2 will work though. A one season mini-series would have made more of an impact tbh
