    So who's getting FIFA 12 on the PC then?

    Can't imagine it'll be too many of us, but how about a simple knock-out to get us going. I reckon if we get 8 people then we're onto a winner, if we get 8-16 i'll do a draw where some people get byes (buys?). Straight knockout is easiest to start with, and lets do one round a week unless people want to do more, then by all means go ahead.

    Rules are, whatever controller settings you like, but you must use Tactical Defending.
    1 leg + extra time + pens.
    4* teams or lower

    So post your origin userid and whether you want to play in the tournament, or just friendlies)

    I'll be getting it on PC this year :) So stick me down for some friendly fun. I'm amazing though, well for one game, then I get bored of winning and start losing loads. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

    Err yeah, should have. What do you need, my origin masterid? Just logged in and apparently it's jeremygreig :) Also, I didn't use any fancy clever ordering. I'm just getting it off Amazon super saver. So won't have it probably 'till 5th October.

    I will be up for this but a) Im on holiday next week and b) I have no idea what my Origin ID is.

    If you start the tournament from the 9th onwards count me in, if not have fun and I'll be up for friendlies.

    Does the PC version have tactical defending? Only asking coz I played Fifa 12 at the expo and realised straight away it was on the PC. It didnt have tactical defending on but I didnt look in the settings.

    It does have tactical defending, I would go with the PC version but for my online thrills I think I just have to go with the 360 version again this year.

    It is smooth as butter on my PC though at 1080p 60fps.

    Kinda tempted by getting this. Not really played a footie game in years though, and never played online. Is it fun? :)

    Yep will do, added most of you yesterday, apart from couldnt find jeremygreig or silkz... and bmovie hasn't left an origin id

    so far i have no friends :)

    BTW picking my team for the tournament, new york red bulls :)

    Its KingWoollard, but like I said I'm off on holiday tomorrow so not sure when you want to start the tournament.

    I have a question about Origin...I preordered FIFA special edition (or whatever it's called) it mentioned something about getting free gold packs etc for FUT...how do I claim those...anybody know?

    I think that EA will send you a code for the gold packs.

    I also have my team for the tournament picked up, Iīll be using Sporting as always.

    I can feel sort of proud that I always used to hold down LT and try to 'face up' to attacking players in previous games but now that I'm having to do it to cater to a specific mechanic!

    Yeah, trouble is my finger hovers over the trigger and not RB.

    I tried the demo. His disappointed with the graphics. Couldn't find any options to change them. Do we just have accept that, as its a port?

    The graphical options are in the launcher, not inside the game.
