I emailed EG back to let 'em know.

Not much else you can do, really.

tbh, i never understood the 'handbags' line, i use it, but its like Ron Burgandy saying 'When in Rome'

but thankfully i dont repeat myself.

I don't understand it either. I quote it from the Vic Reeves / Bob Mortimer gag they used to do on Shooting Stars whenever a star chucked their rattle out of the pram. They'd clutch handbags to their chests and go "OOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Well, it was funny at the time.

to be pedantic (larry david)for a brief mo... i wasnt refering to myself in the first instance...so technically i didnt.

account hacking isnt a nice thing to happen to you, and especially as otto recieved an EG mail which would lead one to suspect that his password is being 'investigated'

pretty sad person who gets their kicks from that.

I think I'd be a little more worried if the password reminder was coming from someplace like Simply Games - know what I mean?

    fake otto?

    dont go there!

    öttö:
i have a degree in anicent greek, dont forgot about it.
    i have an ePOD.
i make this much money but its counted in roubles.
    i love america.

its all too much to even imagine!

tbh serious for a moment, internet security is quite a concern for me and i dont think i ever felt 100% using my credit card online. there are a million and one assholes whose existance revolves around doing their best to steal digital money from you.

dont get me wrong otto, i wasnt taking a 'dig' at you, i was just going for the stereotypical otto threads and answers...

as for the money... well, there was a horrible thread made by you with a sliding scale of salary, you deliciously placed yourself on the top and asked people where they were...

oops, that reads like a dig, but its not.

templar, OK so I bore for Europe on the iPod and ancient languages, and although I'm not an anti-American I can see why someone might make that mistake about me. ;) But money? I'd be horrified to think that others thought that I go on about money.

You bore for Europe? Surely it's on the surface, man.

    Sorry.

You make it sound quite awful. Seemed a lot more innocent to me: -
