What goes on "behind closed doors" at your typical gaming expo? Unspeakable things. Stale snacks, crashy preview builds, sleep-deprived PR people, and greasy, germ-infested controllers - these are the staples of your typical behind-closed-doors session. Trust us, you're not missing much.|
Behind Closed Doors at Eurogamer Expo is different and lots more fun. It's an interview series hosted by Ellie Gibson and John Teti where we'll chat with some of the game-industry luminaries making their way to Earl's Court. The vibe will be more laid-back and silly than your usual game-honcho grilling. Our guests include:
- Voiceover maven Nolan North (of Uncharted and Assassin's creed fame - not to mention a million other games)
- id Software creative director and development pioneer Tim Willits
- Leading innovative indie devs (actual leading innovative indie devs TBC)
The best part is that you can come, too! (So the doors aren't really that "closed," per se, but just play along.) We'll be distributing a limited number of tickets - it's a cosy space - to each taping.
Not only will you be witness to internet-television magic, but Ellie and John will also be inviting the studio audience to submit their own questions to the guests, on account of Ellie and John are lazy and don't want to think up all the questions themselves.
If you'd like a ticket please email firstname.lastname@example.org, stating which session you'd like to attend. Here's the schedule:
Thursday 22nd September, 6.15pm
Saturday 24th September, 5.45pm
Sunday 25th September, 12.15pm
If you can't make it, don't worry, the interviews will be posted on Eurogamer.net in short order, in both video and podcast form. We'll see you Behind Closed Doors!

SFW but a tad racey!
Thanks for all the requests so far. There are still tickets left for all three sessions but they're going fast, so get in quick if you'd like to attend...
For those who have asked: yes, you can request more than one ticket per session.
We'll be sending out details of how to collect your ticket(s) via email in the next day or two.

Surprised by the apparent lack of interest here. I'd have expected there to be queue of people lining up here. Expo seems popular so I'd have thought that Ellie's Expo back door would have been practically kicked off its hinges here.
The Tim Willits session is taking place on Saturday 24th September, not Friday 23rd.
