    For me, Power Stone 2.

Well, maybe not the most disappointing, but up there. It was a completely different game to the first. Making it 4-player didn't really work for me.
I agree with this so much I could burst. The first was a fighting game. The second was something more akin to Mario Party and not what I expected or wanted.

Only Anarchy Reigns as come anywhere near what I expected from a Powerstone sequel.

Twilight Princess. Does that count? As a re-tread of Ocarina and an unneeded apology to some vocal fuckwits over Windwaker it is for sure the blandest, most backwards looking Zelda of the whole series. Windwaker had problems but it certainly wasn't the art style or general direction. This was a lumpen piece of laborious arsery of the highest order.

And my spellchecker doesn't know 'lumpen'. Lame.

    Assassin's Creed III

Just spent twenty minutes trying to sync a viewpoint, but wrestling against the controls when trying to climb a tree (i.e. one of the new main features the game boasted) before giving up.
Ah yes, I had completely forgotten about the trees. It's the same tree every time with the same annoying bit that seems like a glitch.
It really is a shame as I consider the second game to be one of the best games this generation, I did everything in it and the entire experience was an absolute pleasure. This though, whilst I appreciate the ambition, it just hasn't worked unfortunately.

    Dead Space 3
    Dragon Age 2

Seriously, what the fuck happened there?

I think quite a large chunk of the problem is the basis in America and it's a dull place ;-)

I thought the America on display in Red Dead Redemption was very enticing personally.

Yeah, definitely, the wild west America is interesting. The thing is that part of the interest from the AC 2 games was the architecture but in 3 it was basically all the same. This isn't the same sort of issue that rdr can really suffer from. Or if it can then rockstar are too good to suffer it. My main problem with ac 3 is it's dull as Fuck.

I like this one, probably due to it being a childhood film though not as much as the first. Marv is gold, Tim Curry is spot on and it made me buy a TalkBoy back in the day.

The entire franchise fell off a cliff with the third one.

    Resident Evil 5

While I do think it's an okay action game, it's super disappointing as a RE game. Boring story, tank controls, uninspired atmosphere and level design.

    RE4 is still a masterpiece.

Dragon Age 2 really soured the entire series for me. I'm not even looking forward to Dragon Age 3. I don't even enjoy Origins anymore.
