    Heh. Just noticed if my galaxy s2's screen is fully white while loading a page, I have the eurogamer logo emblazened on it regardless of whether I have recently used it or not.

    A testament if ever there was one to how much time I spend using your fine app freakybun!

    Indeed videos not working and same with any separate Gallery articles, pics dont load (screenshot links within articles do load).

    When I press on a video, it just opens with the Youtube app....

    Just to be clear, Game Play videos haven't been updated since July 2012 & Trailers since May 2012 I've tried refresh, etc - and any gameplay videos embedded within an article does not load/open.

    This is from my Nexus 7 running 4.2.1

    Videos still not working. The play button is there and the space for the video is there but there's just a loading icon in the top left that never seems to end

    Soooooo...

    There's a growing number of things that need sorting out with the app. I'll list them now!

    Screenshots are unreliable.
    Screenshots, when they do show are too small and you can't zoom.
    Videos are just broken. Broken people, broken.
    The menu at the bottom makes it look like an ios app. It's android.
    Why is there a separate offline mode?
    Why are there so many different views for reviews, videos etc..?
    Why can't I filter on platform / article type like the main site.
    Navigating forums is a bit fiddly.
    Come to think of it, so are pages of comments.
    I've got ICS, what's that big ... flap at the bottom of the screen.
    That features slider is so full of judder.



    So I'm currently re-writing the app. It's going to take a little while but I've sorted my life out and back on it.

    There, I said it. Thought you should know.

    It really doesn't need rewriting fella, just the odd bug or two. In fact, just group refreshing it's the only issue I have. And that has a workaround.

    I'm keeping the api integration but the front end needs a refresh. I've started, I'm plugging in stuff as I go.

    Just so you know, I think when the YouTube video update happened, they forgot to update the api, currently I don't get any ids or anything for video content.

    On a brighter note, I have a zooming gallery up and running and a cheeky slidey out side menu.


    As I said it will be a few weeks but I think it will be worth it.

    Much appreciated, my most used app by far.

    One minor bug I know of is, if you quote someone but then copy and paste it as a new post, the quote tags are lost even though it looks okay. Happens to me occasionally as my signal in the office is unreliable so if I'm doing a long reply I'll copy it before I try to post, in case the signal (and the reply) is lost.

    Don't forget swipe gestures to refresh articles or change to previous or next article / page.

    use this app everyday so if you want any beta testing again give us a shout.

    i'd honestly fork some hard earned over for it too if you wanna stick a price on it when you dump it in the store. nice to see you earn a few bob for your effort

    Gallery and videos working would be brilliant! Other than that I find it very useable. Good stuff.

    Yea, great stuff. I use an old Desire for work and the only app i have installed outside stock cyanogen stuff is EG.

    Can't wait for the update.
