Due to Spotify, I haven't needed to rip any CDs in a long while. Got a couple of albums I need to rip though, so what is considered the best ripper these days?

Exact Audio Copy does a very good job of ripping CDs.

WMP is probably already installed on your PC and is perfectly capable.

Just make sure you set it to rip at 320. Dunno what the default for WMP is, but I think it's 128 in iTunes.

Not much point going through the effort of ripping with EAC if you're gonna encode in MP3.

Cheers, I used to have that installed years ago, but had forgotten about it. Always gave great results. Will give the trial a whirl.
