I do not agree with the opinions expressed in the original post.
Furthermore it is my considered opinion that the poster comes across as something of a fool, or something of a troll.

Advance Wars is more intelligent, tactical, and violent than the mess that Operation Flashpoint has become.

Plus you can use the DS as a bludgeoning weapon.

I am not a fool (I have a degree in engineering). I am not employed by Codemaster . I am a real gamer. Check out my videos on you tube and see. I am, like many gamers on Dragon Rising a military/ police trained. We prefer games that have realism. I am trained in SWAT. e.g if you are a bad guy in the UK and if the situation call for it, I will shoot you dead in real life. No game. I shoot the HK MP7 armour piecing bullets 20 round carbine, what do you do?

I call the police and tell them there's a loon with an MP7 with armour piercing bullets shooting people up thinking he's playing Operation Flashpoint. And his SPAG is a bit rubbish.

Be warned for the elite gamer, you may not play another game for quite some time if you pick up this game.

Hold on, I thought Elite firearms officers were meant to keep their identities covert. Kinda failing there are you not?

So you're an English SWAT firearms officer with an engineering degree?

    Yes this seems plausible.

I just watched one of your vids pineapple. You drove a Jeep IN THE OPEN into the middle of a town that could potentially contain enemy from any of about 20 positions of height. Then you crashed it THROUGH THEIR FENCE and proceeded to spend almost 30 seconds CLOSING THE JEEP DOOR after it had ejected you from the seat due to the fence infringement.

And you say you're military trained? :p

Is OP still on about this? Shouldn't he be playing the game with the thousands of other elite players enjoying it?

As for his qualifications.... they have internet in asylums now? Nice.

I think it's that guy who saw the light while test-driving Gran Turismo. He was a nutcase too.

Graveland. Yes I have played Red river. After the campaign, there is not much there to keep my interest. Many of the guys went back to Dragon Rising.
Pearof anguish.. do you think there if no police officer with degrees? There are many different people in the service.

seaside... at the start of the game on that map that best tactic is to gain access to the central zone where grenade launchers are at you disposal. Fearing getting sniped is no reason to avoid gaining tactical advantage. Besides did I not get behind cover and not get shot?

Yes I am aware police officers can have degrees, however they do not generally allow mental patients to join their ranks.
