Registered 8 years agoIn at the same place as you Prog, that sort of upset me as well I hear that. I'm guessing its a bluff because everywhere says its 80+ hours. -

Registered 4 years agoBeat Kanji's shadow on my 2nd attempt. Now I'm working on social links while he recovers, and things are going really well. Such a great feeling when your days go according to plan.
I've forgotten though if I can go straight back into the dungeon from floor 1 to fight the shadow boss for a unique weapon, or if I have to wait for Kanji to recover? -

Registered 2 years ago@ZizouFC I'm pretty sure you can go straight back in. I think you just need the original boss to have vacated the room.
Someone might correct me though?
Edit: Like elvenscroll. Ignore the above-my memory is clearly dodgy!

Registered 4 years agoI was able to go straight back in to floor #1, but when I resumed and went to the top floor first - the door was locked.
I don't know if this means I have to go from the first floor or if I need to wait for Kanji to recover.
I can't remember what I did with Yukiko, but I seem to remember having her with me.

Registered 1 year agoThe Mighty Rose has been grinding away these last few weeks (red balls or what!) but still no joy. Before all you lurking babes out there get excited about the thought of me with my crackers out I should add that I have been grinding on Persona Golden.

I never took you for a quitter son. I am stuck on the exact same bit and keep getting wiped out by that little buggers megadong move. Apparently having the black frost persona is a big help in this fight so I will try and get that.
I managed to fuse a persona that looks a big like my lbp creation Chockies the Cat and he is called Neko Shogun. Now if I could only get one that looks like Camp Croc as well I would really start kicking butt. 40 hours+ now and still enjoying this despite that boss battle. I also love the retro music that is used during this fight.
This has been a Mr.O Investigation.

Registered 7 years agoIf I do that, my character levels are not high enough. I cant go back further than a week. I'm level 40 now and according to guides it should be doable. None of my skill moves do very much damage to it. -

Registered 2 years agoRight. If you get really stuck you can spend infinate time in the TV. Use a Goh-m then into Yukiko's castle using SOS and HP/SP cards to regenerate SP then grind again to level up if you like.
It took me 5 tries to do that bloody boss. Depending on skills you have i lowered it's defence and hit it with whatever i has mostly physcal attacks also cure fear when it's in its little form ASAP especially your main character to avoid instant GAME OVER. That's all i did. It transformed abbout four times and took me half hour -

Yeah I don't have the heart to get rid of him either.
Every single boss in the game has given me grief and I hardly ever seem to do any damage to them but still Tim Rose keeps on battling. WizardofOz's tips on the golden hands have served me well thus far and have proved vital to getting experience. -

And by that I mean the resistance it gives you as well as the attack. For bosses lots of buffs and debuffs are important too. They make a massive difference in persona. More than in most Rpgs.

Registered 2 years agoYep Persona is very important. The issue with that boss though is for me was it was Yukiko and Chie he kept slaughtering as his elemental attack can change. Be sure to guard with that person every time once he raises a white wall for example guard a character that's week to ice. -
