If your barber offers to give them a trim, don't! It looks good for a couple of days, but just encourages them to go mental.

About a years wages from what I can understand. Will find out for sure Monday.

Was thinking of spending it on hookers and coke rather than wasting it to be honest.

Ooft. Not bad. I give it three weeks before he's found unconscious in an alley with a heroin needle in his arm and a johnny hanging out of his arse.

I'd say faecal incontinence was less useful, certainly less pleasant. What have you got against the beatboxers, jungle boy? It's an impressive skill IMO.
It sounds awful and looks fucking ridiculous. I refuse to accept that people like he noise that is produced from a music standpoint so all you are left with is a grown man making baby noises at speed and a bunch of urbanites convincing themselves that this is entertaining. I would put it in the same category as people that can farting the national anthem and smoke from their vag in the talent stakes.
    Ah.

Is this going to turn in to the fight you had about Attack the Block? :D

I'm so unhip by legs don't articulate, but even I can appreciate that there are some talented people out there doing this sort of thing who are doing some pretty impressive stuff.

@mowgli Have you reached this decision based on actually witnessing a proper beatboxer performing, or did you just sit next to a guy on the bus to work today who burped and farted a lot? There are some very vocally dexterous people out there, I'm always really in awe of the sounds some of them can make.

What about that guy from Police Academy? If he can't impress you with his vocal abilities, nobody can.

He is also a master of beatboxing.

I'm with mowgli on this one. Sure, beat-boxing can be impressive, but it really isn't music. It's kind of to singing what slap bass is to playing bass properly. Unnecessary percussive showing off that sounds worse than doing things the normal way.

Now that is very subjective. My dad would say that anything produced since 1956 isn't really music. On another track, do drums count as a music instrument?

As is beat-boxing, or at least it can be. The Bjork album Medulla is almost entirely beat-boxing and vocals over the top, and it's most definitely music (and very good at that).
