And actually cheaper to buy separately than in the bundle :)

Okay, only by 2c, but still.

I loved Chaos Theory, might get that. I remember finding Pandora Tomorrow absurdly hard back then... was it?

Chaos Theroy was excellent, a shame further installments went downhill IMO.

If I didn't have a shitty 40gb PS3, I'd be all over it. As it is, I shall have to wait for the disc release next month.

Was just popping here to post the same. Not a massive fan of the first (poor checkpointing) or Pandora Tomorrow (iffy story and level design) but Chaos Theory HD for 8 is *seriously* tempting. Have they included the Multiplayer and Co-op modes?

    Why is this PS3-exclusive?

It's Ubi, therefore it's not PS3 exclusive (they don't really "do" exclusives). It'll be on 360 soon

The only one of these I've ever played is the first one on the original Xbox, which I'm tempted to get again. Is it worth getting the whole pack? Is Chaos Theory the one that has a reputation for being punishingly hard? Or was that Pandora Tomorrow?

I don't consider myself a big fan of stealth games generally (I enjoyed the first SC, but I've hated every MGS game I've ever tried to play). Bearing that in mind, how likely it is I'll get any fun out of the other two titles?

1 Chaos Theory was the peak of the series, from which it has been continuously dumbed down, to the point where it's one button press to win!

I thought it was the first that was really hard, never played it though. I found Pandora Tomorrow tough and Chaos Theory perfectly pitched difficulty wise.

I don't think any of these trilogy re-releases have come out on the 360 so far, have they? It seems to be Sony encouraging it all under the Classics HD banner.

    Any got these?

The first seems to be taking an age to download, been stuck at 54% for about an hour and a half.

I only played Chaos Theory on the N-Gage, anyone know if they're essentially the same game, or will it be worth for me to play a "proper" version now?

Have a look at some gameplay vids, and the original reviews

Chaos theory is by far the best of the three though.

The MGS trilogy is coming out on it. The Resident Evil and Zone of the Enders rereleases are coming out on it.

There's nothing to stop them from putting Splinter Cell out on 360, can't understand why they're not.

Maybe some sort of exclusivity deal with sony?

Hm, they wouldn't be paying for exclusivity on games that old, would they?

They won't come to 360 because they don't like us.

It wouldn't surprise me, saves them investing in backwards compatibilty so no effort on their part.

Plus since the GOW collection people have been screaming for HD remasters.

You could equally ask why SC:Conviction didn't come to PS3. It's Ubi, who knows what they're doing.

The MGS set (and maybe ZoE too) is the only one that isn't under Sony's 'Classics HD' brand. As far as I am aware developers are following Sony's initiative and using their SDK for these sets.
