Are there any Eurogamers going to the Edinburgh Fringe this year? There is a comedian performing that has a relatively low international profile, but is actually really funny. His tickets are really cheap, I have seen him before in Glasgow and I think that it would be cool to have a Eurogamer outing. Anybody want to go?

Ha, funny guy. I don't have a UID as low as yours, but I am not a newly-created sock. Just a W Kamau Bell fan and want to meet some Eurogamers for a comedy event. He is on Twitter and even said that he'll put some gamer references, when I told him that I'm pimping him on Eurogamer.

I'll tell him to look out for a heckler called Weebleboy
    :)

Nobody is biting? Perhaps, you need a sample of his comedy? His first album is on spotify, so give it a listen. There is a lot of his stuff on Youtube. And if you want a copy of his latest album, you can fill out a survey on website and you will be able to download his latest album for free. Worth a try, people.

    /pimping ain't easy

I know that I am going a little far here, but the BBC recorded a clip of W Kamau Bell's set at the Stand, when I saw him. He is on with Stephen K Amos and Zoe Lyons. They all suck, so skip right to 9:33. He is funny.

I have now bought my tickets. Any Eurogamer that is thinking of going, if you fancy meeting up for a pint before, I am going on 27/8/11.

Well, here is a Eurogamer stamp of approval. The guy has not been happy about the reviews that he has been getting. And after seeing him in action, I can see why. This guy is EXCELLENT! He really is. He was very good when I saw him in Glasgow, but he has turned it up a notch. The title of his show is a little on the nose and you might think that you are in for an hour of white people bashing. But nothing could be further from the truth.

He is sharp, funny, engaging and it is criminal, absolutely criminal that he hasn't got a bigger profile. I don't want to spoil his show, but he does make you think about things that you already know in a different way. Go and see him. He has two more shows left. And on top of it all, he is a great guy. He'd also like it to be known that I am not taller than him. He is 6'4. I am a piffling 5'9

Just to point out again that the criminal act of interest that W Kamau Bell's last visit to the UK generated, look at who is endorsing this guys comedy. Chris Rock HIMSELF. W Kamau Bell had a taping of a comedy pilot this last week and Chris Rock thinks so highly of the guy, he came down to the taping. Awesome.

Since his showing at the Fringe, W Kamau Bell has caught the eye of none other than Chris Rock and is executive producing his show.

Y'all wish you had seen him at the Fringe now, I bet you.
