    Followed by Nwn 2 : Mask of the betrayer.. Or possibly Deus ex...

    Looking for an ARPG that still holds it own, I'm looking at Titan Quest or Diablo II. Can anyone recommend either of these two or any others?

    If you don't mind games from Japan, Falcom have a bucket load.
    But you'd have to buy directly from their website, or from Amazon.jp
    Some of the games have english patches available. Some, like Ys Origin, Zwei 2 and Xanadu Next should have patches available soon.

    Do you think it's worth playing the original NWN2 campaign first? I hear it's nowhere near as good, but still.

    Oh, and Planescape Torment obviously. Easily my favourite game of all time.

    D2 is still the king of hack-n-slash games, but TQ is a worthy alternative. What you have there is the best and second best in the genre.

    Icewind Dale and Baldursgate gate series. Icewind Dale 2 is still one of my all time favourite games.
