Registered 3 years agoMy son loved the first level, but he quickly became a little ball of rage on the shmup level. Game looks like a cute casual plaything but it is quite hard, couldn't get through the 3rd level in my 5 or 6 tries.
I don't think making a challenging 2d platformer for full retail price is going to earn you an impressive amount of sales.
It looks stunning though. -

I'll hark back to my earlier comparison with Dave Perry's output back in the early Nineties. Remember what you felt like seeing the likes of Aladdin in motion for the first time?
Yeah. It's that much of a leap ahead animation and fidelity wise. It looks incredible. -

Registered 7 years agoJust downloaded the demo - this was my game of E3 and I'm glad to say it looks even better than before. Can't wait, but I agree with others in thinking I will wait until it is cheaper.Pissy pants.

Registered 3 years agoPlayed the demo and was very impressed with this. It really is a beautiful looking game, just a shame it comes out at the time when we see Uncharted 3, Battlefield 3, COD MW3, Skyrim etc hit the shelves.
I think it's out next week? Could well be cheaper by the time the January sales come along?I like it when he's angry.

Really liked the looks of the vids - have the demo downloaded for a future play test.
The only thing that'll prevent me buying this is Ubisoft's pricing strategy. Amazon have the Wii version (which will probably sell well, target market wise) at £24.90, but are charging £39.90 for the 360 version - £54.99 for the collector's edition!
If Ubisofy had gone in with a 'budget' RRP of £24.99 or even just £29.99 then I'd perhaps have been tempted, assuming I enjoy the demo as much as everyone else.
Like many others, I'll be keeping an eye on this in the New Year sales hoping for a cheap deal. Been burnt far too many times buying games at full RRP, leaving them on a shelf, then realising I could've bought them new for half the price by the time I get round to playing them

Not the biggest fan of how this looks in motion, but at least they're trying something different. -
Really hadn't been interested in this but I took a break from Skyrim to try the demo and it blew me away.
Needless to say I'll be getting it at some point. -

Apparently the game is really hard as well. if Ubi have any sense they wont charge full price for this.

Oozes quality, everything looks so sharp and clean and despite being cartoony it's not a walkover either.
Will certainly be getting this at some point. -

Registered 2 years agoIs it possible to play the demo co op? Loved it single player, reminds me of super mario bros wii, but actually fun. As others have said, I think it should be a budget game though. In the world of msassive budget games and cheap downloadable ones, there needs to be a 30 quid mid price bracket -
