So Amazon says anyone ordered before 5th of November should expect theirs on release.

Think mine was 12th September at exactly the moment of announcement  bets on it not arriving until the Monday?

Hmmm mine's with ShopTo. I ordered it end of october so hopefully it'll come through. Thing is they've released some nice bundles now and i want to swap it for one of those but am afraid to in case the order goes to the back of the queue!

From Amazon? Not even Yoda could predict this. Although they turned him into a dunce who didn't know anything in the preq...Oh never mind!

Looking forward to reading what people have to say about it. Still no 'real' reviews for the ZombiU yet though.

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.

The thing that concerns me about my order is I'm one of the few who got it for 199.99. I'm hoping that doesn't go against me in the queue.

I ordered the premium version from Amazon.

I don't need it for launch, just need it before Xmas.

Was that one of the bundles crispy or just all bought separately?

I went into my local Blockbuster yesterday and asked about it. I did have it on pre-order from ShopTo but cancelled it due to the old "too manyb games on other platforms" syndrome.

They were aware of the Wii U and thinks they'll be getting them in but it's obviously not been given the main push from up above as it were.

I only mention this as it could be the place to go for an impulse buy on the day. Not that I would do such a thing. At all. Ever.

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.

How much did Wii's go for on ebay after stock ran out shortly after launch?

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realise half of them are stupider than that

Gleaned from another site, opinions of zombi u from ONM - spoilered for those who don't wish to know

With ZombiU, they love the fact that it is truly a survival horror game, and a legitimately scary one as well. The attention to detail is apparently fantastic as well, they use the example of the ingame depiction of London Underground stations, featuring status boards, announcements, turnstyles, the round help buttons, etc. They also see the gamepad as being used excellently, for example as a scanner, inventory, controlling security cameras, etc. They have a few minor issues and glitches with the gameplay, but nothing too major. They also wished it had online play and Miiverse functionality. Overall, they claim that it is 'the game you'll be switching on to illustrate why the WiiU is so great'.

I just remind myself how poor the Wii was and the urge to buy fades very quickly.

    They reviewing your game?
  • Deleted user 16 November 2012 13:21:21
I'll buy one once the good ones price is a little less hilarious.
  • Deleted user 16 November 2012 13:23:51
I temporarily cracked again. And placed an order for a basic console and mario via amazon (They still have the basic available for release day). I suspect my head will rule my heart and i cancel it soon.

Would perfer a deluxe over a basic, but i would have had to got a hdd anyway.

Only thing i'm worried about is future firmware updates and how ninty plans to keep them all within the 8gb limit.

If they can't keep a console's firmware within 8GB then something's gone terribly wrong even by Nintendo's standards.
  • Deleted user 16 November 2012 13:38:35
i'm not very tech savvy. By PS3 standards, the amount of updates i ahve to download, how long they take, i thought they were pretty big... shrugs :)
  • Deleted user 16 November 2012 13:40:01
Which brings me to this. I miss the old days of buying a console, opening it, plugging it in and playing withough having to worry about anything else. Its so fucking complicated and brain testing for my special needs.
