Registered 7 years agoNintendo Land doesn't look horrible. I think they're going to get the opposite reaction from me than they would have hoped for in one regard, though: The games that use the WiiPad for any more than a gamepad actually look the worst (Yoshi's Fruit Cart, Octupus Whatever, etc.). -

Registered 2 years agoAnyone know where I can get a cheap black wiimote plus + nunchuck in the UK? Looking to play a lot of the Wii back-catalogue in-between big Wii U releases, but from what I've seen so far the wiimotes seem quite dear even now.Steam: Baleoce

If you spent 400€ on a Receiver without HDMI 2 years ago then you seriously need to investigate your purchases a lot more thoroughly.

Registered 5 years agoMines around 4 years old and has hdmi passthrough, seemed essential long before 2010. Unlucky mate, seems a bit daft to not buy a console because it doesn't have a rather dated output for audio. There are plenty of other reasons not to buy a wiiU, but audio options is the strangest yet.

Even the cheapest Yamaha and onkyo had hdmi back then. -

Registered 2 years agoLooks like it will be possible for people to easily change the rechargeable batteries in both controllers (GamePad and Pro) which is good news:

Registered 7 years agoThis guy really is in love with his own voice isn't he?
How can he have any credibility from saying the Wii and Wii Sports was more innovative? I mean Wii Sports was fun, but it was so fucking shallow and only reason it was so great playing with friends and family was because it was the first time some of them actually had an interest in games, dumbed down games, but it felt good, it felt good to have have someone join you in your favourite passtime. So what if you could play most motion games with a flick of the wrist...
Also, he sounds incredibly disingenious saying people would struggle interacting with 2 screens at once. We're already doing it! with our TV's, phones, laptops, tablets etc. Does he really expect people believe that multiple screen interaction is not the future? why the fuck is he developing games that require minimum attention so you can focus on other activities? like watching TV at the same time
Seriously, he's not even one of us anymore. -

Registered 10 years agoThe amount of Peter Molyneux articles on Eurogamer is an absolute joke; especially when the majority of the articles have been created from excerpts from a previous interview. He and Peter Moore sold their souls to the devil (Microsoft) and although both have parted company with Microsoft they still seem to have a similar allegiance.NNID Sid-Nice
