In good news, Cubemen 2 hits the eShop in a couple of weeks. Been looking forward to that one for ages!

Something looks off with the height of the Y button. Or is it just me?

@superbob85 Yeah that would be smashing.

I do have a pristine GC pad upstairs I can use but the wavebird beats allcomers.

If they are making new GC pads, why not actually put wireless tech in them? Bizarre.

Because then they wouldn't be able to sell any adaptors for it. :-P

I really hope Nintendo will bung a cd for Hyrule Warriors soundtrack on Club Nintendo. The stuff I've been listening to sounds great!

As Raiko said but also the purests would no doubt claim that a wired controller is less laggy. Not an issue for mere mortals I guess but the people that live and breath this type of game wouldn't use anything else. Much the same reason why you don't see many pro gamers on wireless keyboards and mice.

Wow, I wasn't even aware of the existence of lag on wireless pads! Using wired pads sucks though. Especially in my room which is set up for distance play. Wavebird please, Nintendo.

I enjoyed it on the Vita - good solid few hours' play digging away. Exploring and upgrading your equipment is fun. However, it's over pretty quickly and there's little reason to return to it afterwards.

Steamworld Dig is one of the best games on the 3DS eShop. It's a little on the short side (it took me around 4 hours to complete my first run), but it was very enjoyable and has replay value in that the mines are randomly generated each time you start over.

I'm genuinely considering getting the Wii U version this week as there's a minor discount for 3DS owners.

You have to consider that Raiko101 has bionic body parts. I needed 9 hours to clear the game on 3DS. Maybe it took me that long as the levels are generated randomly at the start of each playthrough, and mine were particularly hard. Must be one of the two. ;)

    It's an awesome game, btw.

I played it on the PC and really enjoyed it - imagine it will be just as good on the 3DS.

Xtype really doesn't interest me. I know it's get totally frustrated and hulk smash my game pad. SteamWorld dig seems a like more sedate and more my style. Cheers for the feedback guys!

@zoolophage I am no more. I'm around 5th or 6th. There are some really good players put there. That and a few who have an insane amount of free time, it would seem. Still, it's all something to aim for.

After 3 or 4 hours, I can't seem to top about 160,000. Ace game though, and I'll keep trying. It's extremely addictive.
