I really need to try getting into Wonderful 101. Currently it's sitting on my external hdd unplayed and unloved. (well I played the first level and was totally lost by it all)

From the feedback of others there must come a moment when it 'clicks' with you the player. I didn't feel that initially and hope that I'm not alone in not quite getting it.
It never clicked with me, seems quite the marmite game :-(

@Toaster05 I'm kinda the same. I had a bit of a buying binge when I bought my U.

Ended up with Mario Kart, Mario 3D world, Pikmin 3, Zelda, Mass Effect 3 and 101. Only played 3D world and Zelda really!

Thinking about it, I bought the console for £240 and got MK8, Mario 3D and Zelda with it (so say £40 for the 3 games). Then bought Pikmin for £15, 101 for £14 and Mass Effect for £4.

That's roughly £73 for 6 games! Quite chuffed with that!

Any idea if the third party controllers are any good?

I'm going to give it another go. I quite like the idea behind the game but the controls are just a bit off for me. I'm hoping I can get beyond the biggest issue I found, which was the controls.

Bargain prices really. I love SM3DW the level of polish in that game is amazing and it's opened my eyes to the prospect of a Captain Toad game which I'm stoked for. The temptation is there to bulk out your collection with the cheap deals out there but you have picked out a lot of the quality games already. WW in HD was fantastic and I loved my time with it.

I'm still thinking about Monster Hunter but having never played any of the other games in the series I'm not too sure. I love my Wii U but I'm not playing it enough at the moment, need to play more MK8.

Where d'ya get that deal? That's rather tempting. £255 for MK8, M3D, Zelda and Pikmin (3, I assume), would tip me over.

Fucking hell! Even the videos that explain it are almost impenetrable to me. I think I'm too much of a pussy too.

    There's 1 left.

If I hadn't have picked one up on ebay for £210, I'd just at the chance of that. Messy box, brand new console.

Gone! Although, ME3 really isn't my cup of tea. Cheers anyway.

Weird. I don't get the add to basket button at all for that. Everything else on the site has it.

The game collection seem to be doing different Wii U deals every couple of days, I got my basic model and Disney infinity for £120 the other week from them (ex display, but hadn't been opened by the looks of it)
  • Deleted user 21 July 2014 16:11:17
Now getting out of stock. Ah well. I'll keep an eye on that.

I found Ebay the best place for WiiU as I bought the 32gb model for £130 (with no pubes).
  • Deleted user 21 July 2014 17:12:23
You must of been very disappointed by that.

Wii U to Wii U System Transfer?

I swear to god, I never thought this would ever be implemented. It's not that long ago I had to send my old and new Wii U to Nintendo to get them to transfer everything across.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is a landmark day in Nintendo's history. Kind of. Better late than never etc etc

I should use that mode more often when the TV is in use to finish some of the games I've never got round to finishing such as skyward sword and mario galaxy 2.
  • Deleted user 22 July 2014 13:27:32
I've used it a couple of times. The smaller display makes the graphics look a bit better compared to the TV, so that's nice :)

    Also, here's why Mario doesn't have guns: http://youtu.be/xTvx61Pgew8 :)

By pure luck, I swiftly nabbed three Club Nintendo codes from the Mario Kart 8 promotion on eBay for £9.85 each and not only did I download three digital games (New Super Mario Bros. U, Game & Wario and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD), I also received not one, not two but THREE £5 activation codes...!

I blooming love Nintendo at the moment.

    : )

p.s. You can pre-order Hyrule Warriors on Amazon for £31 as of this weekend gone by.

How is Game and Wario? Looks a bit too base bones to be fun compared to the previous Wario Ware games.

@CharlieStCloud How can you redeem the codes if it was one per account? Can you make another account and then get the code to input into the eshop?

If so, why the hell didn't I do that?!

I didn't know all Wii games could be played on the Wii U gamepad screen...that's suddenly made it a lot more interesting.

What about sound, can you connect headphones to the Gamepad?
