    I'm in HMV.

... how much is the WarioWare game, the Game & Watch thingummy, on eShop?

I have it in my hands for 27.99 and am wondering if it is cheaper if I digitally download the game.

    Ta!

I have seen it for 19.99 I think either in Game or on Amazon.

Having said that Game have raised prices since Christmas but maybe worth a look.

    Oh God.

... haven't been in a GAME store for YONKS!

If I do not post again after this message, I will have passed out due to the overwhelming BO in-store.

    Wish me luck!

I've found the UI speed and general load times to be better than on the PS3 or 360, tbh.

Really pleasantly surprised by the console, now that I'm used to be playing on the gamepad. Tried a bit of ZombiU in between Mario sessions, and it's surprising decent and atmospheric.

Indeed, though Miiverse is a bit on the slow side for a forum-like a experience.

Navigation of the UI seems about the same speed as the xbox one. Booting up the wii u is faster. No complaints.

Being seven years newer I was hoping for more. Not a show stopper but very annoying.

Agreed on Zombi U; very atmospheric.

I really like the console. There's something endearing about Nintendo and the way they go about things. They're really trying aren't they? This will never be my "main" console but I'll always have it for those consistently great Nintendo games.

The console itself is nice, I really like the stand for the controller especially. I don't suppose anyone can tell me what that other plastic stand(?) is for? Never found a use for it.

My only disappointment is the quality of the image on the controller. I think I've been spoiled by iPhone/iPad/Vita but I can't say it's something I'd want to use too much for gaming. Seems a little cloudy/blurry to me, and not bright enough even on the highest setting. I suppose this is a battery life sacrifice as it seems to die fast enough as it is.

Yeah, comparing colours on SM3DW on pad and TV is like night and day.

@ecureuil I think if I am thinking of the right one, the other stand clips to the machine so it be placed vertically.

Nah not those. I think it's just a controller stand. Can't think of a use for it though.

The pad is a bit washed out, but I find myself using it over the TV for those more difficult sections in SM3DW

Some clever sod has apparently got the Gamepad running for a PC...

The Pad stand is to quickly relocate for offscreen TV gaming in Wii mode with a wiimote or WiiU offscreen TV gaming with something like the W101 where you will use the Pro controller instead. All without the problem of moving the charging dock cables.

The pad stand is good for Pikmin 3 when using wiimote/nunchuck

I almost forgot I had it. Found when clearing out the attic (it was still in the Wii U box :))
Another nice touch from Nintendo showing that they really thought of everything (now if only their marketing department would do the same ;))

Had the WiiU for a few days now. It's a very nice console. The gamepad is surprisingly comfortable and Mario World is fantastic fun. Not touched Wind Waker yet as Lego Undercover has taken most of my playtime. It's very impressive, over all.

One big plus is how much the kids love playing WiiU party and Nintendoland. I thought they'd be throwaway software, but they've turned out to be great fun.

    @ecureuil

Probably just me, but I think the bottom screen on the 3DS XL is better than the one on the GamePad itself therefore I am surprised Nintendo didn't stick with the same screen ... unless it was sacrifice for battery reasoning(s), even though the battery is fairly poor as it is.

I got Game & Wario yesterday and oh my days!

... we all had a riotously good time.

    : )

Seriously Nintendo, this linking NNIDs to devices is utterly retarded. If I want to join the premium program I now need to create a whole new account with a whole new email address and a whole new NNID too. Come on, that is staggeringly user-unfriendly. That only serves to make me even less likely to purchase digital content from you. It is THE WORST system imaginable, they actually couldn't make it any more awkward.

I realise people will say you just unlink the ID but Nintendo don't make it clear that a) you need to do that when you sell / wipe a device and b) if you don't do this you are totally shafted and Nintendo can't/won't help. Shambolic.

Could people stop saying Mario 3D World is good please. I'm trying to save money just now and could really do without impulse buying it on the way home, especially given I've got Pirates Creed in the mail and it's probably sitting at home for me already. Thank you.
