Judging by the screenshots and the less isometric camera than 3D Land, I find it very hard to believe this game also has the 8 way run.

    Looks awesome.

This is going to be the one. It looks stunning.

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.

Does anyone else thinks Nintendo's developers are handling HD shading and reflections very well? The reflections on Mario are just stunning.

I would also draw the attention to the work done on NSMBU, a 2D game. This image shows the spinning stars' relflections on the Mario crew

The one that will shift a large number of units. I have one before this is released. I'll have to as I'll have 2 other shiny new consoles taking up my time.

The 2D Mario bundle looks to be the best value. That's out the week before the One. However, the Lego City bundle is out on Friday and then at least I'll have a bit more time with it. Hmm...

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.

Last time I read something on another forum from a random (serving suggestion: take with pinch of salt) says the embargo is up on release day. Given it's Wednesday though, it is looking likely. It got all 9s in Famistu, so 36/40 total, lazy math fans! Not much use without the words to go with it though except the fact there are at least 4 people who enjoyed playing it. They do love their Sonic though, going by previous reviews.

I'd kick the living daylights out of the producers of Tipping Point - Ghandi

I preordered it ages ago and just got a message from Shopto saying they have taken the money,
I forgot it was even coming out so soon.

    @Oceanstar

Yeah they have really nailed a lighting model havn't they?, even in what i have seen of nintendo land and mario kart, it just elevates the wii u from this gen to something a little better.

@Armoured_Bear Try to find a different site to use for testing, that one is incredibly inconsistent.

If this is good, and I'll be very surprised if it genuinely is, I might pick it up.

I never realised my girl was a Sonic nut as a kid. I'm hoping that Lost World is as good as it looks. For her you understand.

It would be nice to get a similar quality run to the 3ds on WiiU.

Just me who thinks the screenshots for Super Mario 3D World are pretty but unnaturally reflective in almost all character models?

... why does Mario look like a shiny glossy plastic toy?

The art style in Galaxy looks better IMO!

In the first one, it's because it's raining and he's wet. You can see the rain streaming down the camera on the left hand side. That's the only one I can see him being overly shiny. The rest have him look a bit bright and colourful, with that slight halo effect, but not too shiny as far as I can see.

I'd imagine however he looks, it's just the art style they wanted to go with.

I'd kick the living daylights out of the producers of Tipping Point - Ghandi

It was more consistent for me than your east sussex one :-(

speedof.me was consistent with only 1Mbps up and down which is odd.

@Armoured_Bear That's an HTML5 speed test on speedof.me so probably not good to use with the wii browser - it gives me a very low result too.

This seems pretty cheap for the upcoming Deus Ex due next week:

Is it any good? what games does it compare too? I am intrigued, will maybe pick it up when the price inevitably drops.

I played it on 360 and despite never quite managing to finish it, I thought it was excellent. It's first person with a mix of shooting and sneaking and you get lots of special powers and moves. A thinking man's shoot 'em up if you like.

Should be a lot of fun with the various bits of new functionality added to the gamepad.
