    @Pinky_Floyd

    I finished it mate and im part way through super luigi u which I think is a lot better. Maybe im just burnt out by Mario. Rayman origins came along and I was pleasantly surprised as to me mario has always been king of platformers. Legends has just ticked all the boxes for me.

    Maybe im just more in the mood for a platformer now and when nsmbu arrived I wasnt really fussed about it.

    @addyb Super Luigi eh?† I havent bothered but I hear good things from those who have played it.† Reviews seemed middling but gamers seem to love it, its a nice price too.

    Why do you prefer it?

    Gonna jump Raymans bones when I see a deal for it, should be a good one to get the kids involved.† Just wish it set me alight but I will definitely give it a go at some point soon.

    @Pinky_Floyd it really is good and well worth £30. I've now done the standard levels but have probably 50% as much again in new levels to explore. Now it's finished. If the character of rayman leaves you cold, as it does with me, you can always use a different hero which essentially a reskin but it works for me.

    @Pinky_Floyd

    The better half has been playing Luigi U since I bought an eShop(rental) copy for her Thursday evening. I think it feels a little sparse in places as a standalone product compared to SMBu and I think locking out the full save feature again(until completion) is a little bit tedious; especially with the 100 second time limit, but it is still pinnacle platforming from a playability angle and now getting in the way of me playing W101 again. :(

    @Pinky_Floyd

    I think it just plays better and there are more surprises. Each level generally offers something different and its just a joy to traverse the levels. The bosses are excellent as well. Absolutely loved the mexican wrestler battle. Its just full of humour. Eye of the tiger speed run level just had me grinning like an idiot.

    I actually dont mind the murfy levels.† Yes there are more than there should be but the later ones get pretty tough. All in all I just think it offers more then mario. The level design is excellent and the challenges are good fun with comparing your scores to worldwide and friends.

    Ha! Yeah, I realised I'd repeated myself there.

    And Luigi U is excellent. Not one to play straight after Mario U maybe. I gave it a while and I'm glad I did.

    Luigi's physics are a lot of fun to play around with after a period of acclimatisation. I'm sure I've repeated myself here too.

    The battle system is good in Xenoblade.

    @Progguitarist

    To be honest, the £17.99 for the DLC was way too expensive really. Especially considering the £49.99 for the main game.

    Child of Light confirmed for Wii U. Only a downloadable title, but good news as it looks gorgeous.

    It looks alright. Kinda reminds me of Bravely Default, visually, and NyxQuest.

    You wouldn't think so reading eg front page

    Tell a lie if you read the title you wouldn't think so, read the article and it mentions wii u. I wonder why they didn't blother including it in the title character limits maybe

    It's simple editorial decision, to fit Wii U into the header would have meant taking something else out that was considered of more interest to people viewing the page.

    I'm gutted that Valiant Heart is giving the system a miss though, especially as it's similarly hitting every other console imaginable.

    If it was vogue to talk about the Wii U and it was a similar phenomenon to the Wii then the headline would have read "Child of Light Coming to the Wii UĒ also on PS4, PC and Xbox One.

    Nope, can't be that. 66 as is, so adding a space along with "& Wii U" would make it 74. The "Ex-BioShock and Borderlands devs announce first-person action roguelike Eldritch" is 80, so it'd still be within that limit.

    Probably just didn't feel it was worthy of being in the title, which given the audience for it is relatively low is fair enough.

    Looking at the list of platforms on the home page...

    Xbox One
    PlayStation 4
    Xbox 360
    PlayStation 3
    PC
    PlayStation Network
    Wii U
    3DS
    iPhone
    iPad
    Android
    PlayStation Vita

    The Wii U is in no manís land and the DS and Wii no longer exist.

    To be fair, at least they properly tagged that article so it shows up if you filter to just Wii U stuff. If you're really looking for Wii U stuff, it'll do.

    I aim to please with my frequent edits :) Went off on a tangent a bit so removed it. Sorry!

    No-one else got Blacklist then? I want to play co-op with someone that won't rage at me if I get seen because I'm terrible at stealth. Would probably do Panther co-op. Of course I'm still happy to play with a random. I'm not even fussy if they're crap as I can hardly complain when I'll be as bad.

    Is it possible the Wu thread is more popular than the John Wu itself?
