    I think it's nearer 30.
Hmmm... I'm going to take neilka's estimate.

Don't make me list them now, because you know I'll do it. I'll list the HECK out of them.

This is probably a waste of time, but if you are considering a Wii U Pro Controller, he's a list of games that support it.

    Retail

    007 Legends
    Assassin's Creed III
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
    Darksiders 2
    Fifa 13
    Game & Wario
    Injustice: Gods Among Us
    Mass Effect 3
    Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate
    Need for Speed: Most Wanted
    New Super Mario Bros u
    New Super Luigi U
    Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge
    Pikmin 3
    Resident Evil: Revelations
Sonic & Sega All-Star Racing Transformed
    Skylanders Giants
Tank! Tank! Tank! (Which tanked! tanked! tanked!)
    Tekken Tag Tournament 2
    The Wonderful 101
    Warriors Orochi 3
    ZombiU

    eShop
    Cloudberry Kingdom
    Ducktales: Remastered
Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2
    Mutant Mudds
    Nano Assault Neo
    The Cave
    Trine 2
    Zen Pinball 2

    Virtual Console

    Literally everything.

    Future Titles
    Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
    Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
    Mario Kart 8
    Rayman Legends
    Super Mario 3D World
    Super Smash Bros U
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD

I can imagine that Mighty Switch Force has Pro Controller support, but then i'm just assuming that Splinter Cell Conviction and Watch Dogs will also support the Wii U Pro Controller, too.

I'm probably missing a fair few more, but i'm sure there's a few games out there that nobody was interested in anyway. Ben 10, anyone?

I'm just putting out there for anyone who might want one. As I said already, I only use it for multiplayer purposes, or if I have to recharge the Gamepad and can't be bothered to plug it in.

What notable games don't support it? ZombiU and Nintendo Land seem to the the only 2.

Had an hour or so on Duck Tales Remastered last night. Its pretty good if you like old school platformers. Solid yet unspectacular might be the best way to describe it.

Is it worth 11.99? I don't personally think so but i need to have a proper session on it before i decide on that. Cloudberry Kingdom however is another beast entirely. Im hooked on it and its well worth the 8.

Again it all depends on if you like those kind of games. Like Super Meat Boy is tough as nails at times but instant respawns mean it always gives you that one more go feeling.

I'd love a portable version of that.

I nabbed the Wii version of Pokemon Rumble; it was OK but veeeery bare bones. It wasn't very compelling.

Trine 2 is very sluggish, has a few bugs and it often feels like you're exploiting the games' mechanics, rather than solving it's puzzles. It also envolves solving the same puzzles multiple times over in multiplayer, just to get every player into the next area/room. It is the first Wii U game i've abandoned. Very disapointing.

Nintendo would be wise to get support for and introduce haptic sensing in time for the 2 big boy releases at Christmas. That would really give them a USP.

Have got some friends round this evening and was thinking of cracking out nintendo land.

Which are the best games for 5 people? Do they work with the pro controller as I only have 2 wiimotes.

Nintendo Land doesn't support the pro controller, full stop. It gets worse though. You'll need motion plus Wii remotes for Zelda and nun chucks on top of that for Metroid, which are the two best multiplayer games on there. Mario chase is good fun and supports standard Wii remotes. Otherwise you'll likely be taking it in turns playing Crash Course and Balloon Trip.

Ok gotcha. I currently have 1 standard wii mote and 1 motion plus wii mote. Both have nunchucks.

So for 4 people I assume I could go to cex and ger 1 more motion plus wii mote and I could buy a motion plus adapter for the standard wii mote. 1 nunchuck also needed.

And the gamepad acts as a motion plus wiimote?

Well, the GamePad is compatible with every game, but it doesn't really act as another Wii remote. It functions quite differently to the Wii remotes. I suppose it is technically using motion plus, though, for games like Metroid Blast, Zelda Battle Quest, F-Zero and Crash Course.

Edit - I might as well throw this in there, but depending on how good your mates are with games will influence what you play most. Metroid Blast is brilliant in multiplayer, whether you're playing competitively or cooperatively. The arena-style maps take me back to the early days of Unreal and Unreal Tournament. It's so fun. I managed to a 3-player game going a few months back and we must have played it for about 4 hours straight. It's incredibly addictive. The absolute highlight of the package.

If your mates are a bit more casual, however, you'll probably be playing Mario Chase most often. As long as 4 of you play, it should be great fun. I find Zelda Battle Quest works well for more casual players too, being on-rails. It's more fun using the Wii remotes too, I find, so you can let everyone else fight over who's using the Gamepad.

    I keeeeed, I keeeeed!

I wonder if Pikmin was there on launch day if things would be different.

I completely forgot about the Pikmin game. That's another enjoyable co-op game, but it's not quite as appealing as some of the others. I wonder if Pikmin had been released sooner that it might have benefited from being included in Nintendo Land.

2 hours of good Nintendo Land fun tonight with 4 players. I think Luigi won hands down with everyone busting to be the ghost, who feels a little overpowered to be honest.

Zelda went down well if a little simplistic. Didnt try them all but a good few and overall was a success, along with my home made mushroom soup and mughlai curry.

Was worth the tenner I paid for it :)

Pinky, did you get it second hand for a 10 spot?

And were the other 3 players gamers or not?

I really like the Wii U, it has REALLY great graphics (I'm also glad Nintendo finally decided to switch to HD.)It's launch really didn't have very many games. Now they have quite a few, and are working on other ones, like Super Mario 3d World and Mario Kart 8, I'm also really excited for Disney Infinity, as it is coming out tomorrow.

I DONT CARE IF IM IN COLLEGE IM GETTING THIS GAME!

@rumblesushi yes was from cex a while ago I think. Luigis ghost game is a perfect example of local multiplayer that simply cant be done anywhere else. It seemed to delight everyone.

Only myselfband my friend play games, our wives dont but everyone enjoyed it the same.

Tackling skyward sword for the umpteenth time. Have never managed to get further than the entrance to the first dungeon in my 4 times of playing it. Determined to go a bit further this time as I believe its a pretty good game.
