You've completely missed the point, probably willfully. You think you're great, everyone around you thinks you're loud and obnoxious,

Aaaaaaaaaaaaanyway. Morrisons have done an Asda:
    http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/analysis-can-nintendo-turn-wii-u-sales-around-this-christmas/0119501

The latest financial report from the platform holders says that, across Europe, Wii U has sold a lowly 10,000 consoles. And so it comes as no surprise that the likes of Morrisons and Asda have decided to cease stocking the machine.
Meanwhile, when Asda cut the price of Wii U by £100 three weeks ago, this resulted in just 250 extra console sales compared with the week previously. Amazon followed suit the following week, which caused a further 667 console sales. This shows that the price cut did have an impact, but we’re hardly talking big increases here.

Personally speaking, I think its the best thing to happen in the history of gaming and will clearly result in the Wii U version being the best because fuck multiplayer, thats why.

I dont even want to have the option of it on the disk.
They've removed it because there aren't multiple players to play the multiplayer.
Well, there's me and...er... Pinky. Binky and Pinky. Brilliant.

    /buys Batman on PS4.

I considered that one, but I felt Shelton's over-selling in the one I posted to be far funnier :D

Game shops? The two GAME in Bristol are still giving the Wii U shelf space. Even if it is merging with the Wii's space. It's about 4 times the space the Vita has and, considering the lack of pre-owned games, a little more than half of what the 3DS has.

I can imagine nobody will be stocking it if the christmas line up fails to ignite sales.

The game near us had a big change around recently. They basically emptied the second hand racks onto the new shelves. It kind of looks like a cash converters.

Have supermarkets really been the place to go to get your consoles???i know they have great day 1 prices but you never see a huge amount of space dedicated to individual consoles heck my tesco doesn't have 20 games for a ps3 or Xbox let alone a wii u and its cheshunt extra (tesco hq) the only thing they do have space for is sky landers

8 quid. Haven't seen any reviews and I'm not going to risk money on something without a demo.

Luigi U looks more appealing to me although it is significantly more expensive.

    @JiveHound

It gets a 73 on metacritic for the 360

    http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-360/cloudberry-kingdom

But like you said I'd prefer a demo first.

Not really.  Just needs more and better games that begin to sell.  Then it will get more shelf space.  Maybe.

Doubling the amount of space the wii u gets up and down the land tomorrow isnt going to affect sales one iota.

HMV and blockbuster over here have stopped selling wiiu games as Nintendo charge too much for a decent profit margin. That means the missus had to get pikmin online as they're the only 2 shops on the island. Think Nintendo really need to look at their strategies.

They can barely give it away here. When they dropped the Premium to £100 at Dick Smith, they moved those (gone for good, though), but £200 for the Premium with Mario isn't shifting. I guess either people don't give a shit or they are waiting for Dreamcast prices.

It's not as if Game, Gamestop, Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, Amazon, etc., etc., etc., etc., etc., etc., etc., have stopped selling the Wii U, so let's not start digging its grave quite yet.

You can buy the shovel, though. :p

The premium means nothing to Johnny's mum, as does the bigger hard drive.

Johnny's mum is concerned about the strange slime-coated man eyeing up Johnny in the supermarket, though.

Big Australian (and NZ) tech store chain. I convert the prices to her royal currency as I'm nice. :p

Let's face it, it's never going to gain the mass market traction now of either the PS3, 360, Wii (or most likely what the next gen consoles will reach).

However, it is likely to do a gamecube and provide a good few years of nintendo first party games for those who wish to enjoy them.

Surely it should be a good thing if supermarkets stop selling consoles (not if it's just Wii U but all of them). Then the specialist game shops may get a look in if they can price them right.

People always complains about the supermarkets running shops out of business by selling everything.
The Game near me has a decent sized Wii U section - they have a least 2 demo pods, but they are only showing the preview videos and a single level demo of Mario.

Get a tonne of demo machines and have all the latest releases running on all platforms then I can try before I buy. I am much more likely to buy if I can stick on any game and give it a quick blast.
