Registered 8 years agoSo, I'm still shopping around for a good bundle but realised after doing some accurate, long and well considered budgeting that I'd not have enough cash for a Wii U until Christmas. So I'll probably just end up using a catalogue company, because I'm wildly financially irresponsible and that's how I roll
Prices aren't as hilariously high as I'd have though, just the same sort of prices I'd pay in GAME anyway. A little less, actually.
So, the choices of bundle (all Premium) are:
Arkham City, Assassin's Creed 3 and Zombie U
007 Legends, Aliens Colonian Marines and BLOPS2 (I should probably just discount that one entirely)
Rabbids Land, Super Mario Bros Wii U and Sonic Racing
I think I fancy the first one most, as I love the Creed series, and Zombie U looks pretty good, plus I do fancy Arkham City. I'm fine with the multi-console ones being inferior to other consoles, as long as they're playable. Worst I've heard is the naval battles in AC3 get choppy as heck, which I can live with.gif)
At the same time, maybe that Rabbids game is a hidden gem that someone here enjoys? I don't think it's likely, but I've heard a lot of good things about Mario and the Sonic Racing game.
Anyone got any thoughts on that? The bundles, not me being bad with money, I already know that.

Ignore bundles, get the console cheap with a copy of an exclusive title like ZombiU and get the multiformat games for cheaper on your PC/360/PS3.XBL: rolemodel86 PSN: Syrette86

I'd try and get a zombiU bundle cheap. The pro controller will come in handy. If Arkham is anything like BLOPs then you can use the gamepad as your screen and use the pad as your interface.
Failing that the Ac3 bundle sounds like it will satisfy your wants ands needs the best.
Don't let anyone put you off Mario though. Yes it's not the launch people wanted but it is still a fantastic game.
I take it Nintendoland is packed in to all those deals?
When you do get a wiiu add me and draw me some pictures.

Registered 8 years agoI think you're right, that bundle is more the sort of thing I like - I fancy all 3, there that Rabbids thing looks like shovelware. Yeah, they're all Premium so Nintendoland is included.
I think I'll give it until my birthday and see if anyone else does it considerably cheaper, then I'll go for that bundle Even if I do delay, I promise pictures eventually AdamAsunder. Kirby is the man! Even if he wasn't, he'd just ingest and become one.

... really do not understand why folks buy things they know is not essential nor easy to afford.
I am sure the Wii U will not only be cheaper, it shall have a slightly more desirable selection of games too. -

So that's Revelations scheduled for May, not of great interest to me, handheld games rarely make good console titles, the HD upscale of Peacewalker was crippled by it's handheld origins, the sparse, tiny environments compared badly to the Metal Gear games that predated it. Still, Resident Evil was very much a game of shuffling in and out of tiny rooms, it might work.
I don't know what a Crood is but it sounds rather unsavoury, I don't want to know, my guess is some sort of Victorian era slang for an unwashed vagina. -
