    I'd take a gamble on a 3d Mario being their killer app this Christmas.

    I'd probably get reasonable odds too.

    What I really want is more quality games that focus on asymmetric multiplayer. ZombiU's mp hints at awesome promise. It's usurped Halo as my go to game with my better half.

    So what Wii U games are coming out this year. Monster Hunter is most definately my next game, but i've not looked further than that as there'll be 4 3DS games I want shortly after.

    Not a right lot. According to Wiki the only exclusive game that currently has a set release date is that Lego Undercover thing. There's Pikmin which is supposedly out late May sometimes but has no fixed date, and Bayonetta, Wonderful 101 and Game & Wario but no idea when they'll appear, and Wind Waker HD. Other than that, no word on anything this year.

    People were talking about Sniper 2 earlier,here's a wee interview with the developers stating why it's the "definitive version".

    Why didn't they make the pad a scope like that old arcade game with the big gun that had an LCD in it? Seems like it's crying out for it.

    Because you can react 1/2 a second quicker than the other versions? That's practically a license to print money!

    How does GTA V affect Rayman at all? It's like saying they shouldn't release the new Top Gear DVD at Christmas because Twilight Breaking Dawn is also being released at the same time.

    because most wii U owners will have PS3 or an Xbox and most of them will want to play GTA and won't give a fuck about some two bit platform game when they do.

    How about kids?

    Surely some will put Rayman Legends on their letter to Father Christmas ... and not EVERYONE likes the Grand Theft Auto series; I would gladly prefer to play a 'two bit platform game' than GTA.

    I can foresee the new one doing even better than Rayman Origins.

    I forsee GTA having no impact on the 550k copies Rayman was due to sell for Wii U.

    I'm annoyed that Rayman isn't coming out in a couple weeks as I was just starting to look forward to it, I'd just put a pre-order down for it last week. I always assumed it would be multi-platform eventually but can't really see the reason for delaying the Wii U version if it was good and ready. Surely, a month or two of Wii U owners talking about how great it is would be good for marketing?

    Oh well, just realised I still haven't finished Origins so i'll get on that for now.

    I really don't understand the point of making you sign up with an account that requires a password, then letting you do nothing with it - everything is still locked to the console, just like the Wii, and you can't log in to another console should you get a new one.

    Yes, I know they plan for a better system one day, but just now it seems a bit redundant. I'm probably missing something, that's just how it seems.

    Even TW101 and Bayonetta 2 struggling to keep me interested in this thing. And I so wanted it to be good. :(

    At DICE, nobody has been talking about the new Wii U projects they have started, only the Wii U projects that have just been cancelled.

    Platform is in serious trouble.

    I've only really just discovered Reddit, so please excuse this shameless stealing from here, but I found a few of the responses in the Miiverse to the Rayman delay amusing :)

    I do still want a Wii U, mind. I'm not a huge fan of Rayman anyway.

    The "Mario" being quoted is from Sidhe games btw (whoever they are).
