Registered 9 years agoI just kicked it off as it's part of the initial setup wizard. I'm not on dial-up, but I think whatever server is hosting the update is using dial-up. I've got 100mb cable.
Didn't know that the U downloaded in the background. -

Registered 8 years ago@Syrette Not really given that other ports from far bigger developers have not had that same result. It's also the first game to be significantly improved on WiiU. As I said, it's a game that's light on CPU but the fact it clearly outperforms both other consoles in a way they could not replicate with any amount of development time is a step forward for seeing what WiiU is really capable of. -

Whether WiiU can reproduce that kind of graphical difference on games that challenge the CPU more is yet to be seen though!! -

I enjoyed this article. The title is somewhat provocative, and I'm sure a few people will take the bait, but the article in general pretty much sums up how I feel about the online and miiverse right now. Particularly liked the section on achievements. But different strokes for different folks. Either-way, read it first before blindly responding to the title.

Posting an in-game shot of something you feel is an achievement is far more satisfying than unlocking a pre-determined one. Registered 1 year agoI just want the framerate in games to be stable. I have batman, creed 3, zombiu and sega racing and the framerate in all four are all over the place.
The eshop has been down for me all night too, not that it matters because i only have £10.02p left in my wallet and the only thing i can afford is puddle. Sort it out Ninty. -
The eShop is down for maintenance. It's down on both consoles at the minute. I wonder if it has anything to do with tomorrows Nintendo Direct? Probably not.
Going back to these large patches... I've seemingly been quite lucky with how quickly i've downloaded these two patches. The first one took me just under half an hour, and the second has taken a little more than 20 minutes. It's still installing though, so perhaps I shouldn't speak to soon. :/3DS: 4210 4002 8289 (Dave)
