Registered 11 years agoMan, I had to sign for my Wii U and come to work. Then we have dinner and theatre plans tonight
I'm so tempted to drop my plans, but I have a free day tomorrow. It's not like I have any games other than Nintendo Land, but I'm so tempted to go out and pay RRP for ZombiU from HMV or something. £44.99 is such a bloody rip off though! --------------------------------------------------------------------

Tesco or ASDA are usually best bets for getting them a little cheaper. I'm debating whether to go and pick up ZombiU later on if it's reasonably priced. -

Though for me, Microsofts "cake" would be taste the difference - costs more, hard to tell if you're getting more value.
Sony's would be a 2 tier wedding cake, kinda plain looking, with the option to add another tier for an additional cost.
Nintendo's, well you put it very well yourself about them making their own cake so I'd say they bought the finest ingredients from waitrose, but bought all their utensils from poundland... -

Registered 7 years agoPeople who keep slagging off the Wii U are jealous! Basically it doesnt matter if the graphics arent quite as good as 360 or ps3. Im just pleased we now have an HD Nintendo console and ive even more pleased that Motion control is less important because gamepad/touchscreen are far better. If the original Wii was Hd and stuck to traditionsl controls I wouldve been happy as Nintendo games really are better than snyone else's.
Ive played 20 minutes if Zombiiu and its better than any survival horror ive played on the current generation.its so immersive with the pad/backpack! -

Registered 4 years agoSo when I click the option to package all my Wii U related orders into one, they decide to dispatch Nintendo Land a day early, by itself. It's meant to be getting delivered by Royal Mail, but they had nothing for me yesterday and nothing again today.
Hopefully the DPD delivery man doesn't knock on the door to tell me he's got nothing for me either. Why couldn't they have just dispatched Nintendo Land with everything else? Bah!3DS: 4210 4002 8289 (Dave)

Played it last night and my first guy lasted about 40 minutes. Much careful movement, then an alarm went off (you will know the place if you have played it) and I paniced and got flustered and died.
Then my second character last 2 minutes. I went back to where I died, and found that although normal zombis take 4 hits, my old guy took around 8, by which time I was dad as I had not planned to take that much time.
Then 3rd character lasted 15 before I turned it off. I am tempted to restart just to see how long I can keep someone alive.
Hard as nails game, but great fun. And genuinely stressful trying to swap between pad and TV. -
