Hackers could find anything on the front page of Eurogamer that isn't old news.

    @Gambit1977

Doesn't sound like it mate. They seriously reckon that's the clock speed of the little bugger. :/

How do you know it was hacked through the wii emu mode? Few people are saying as the architecture is so similar they could have kept a few low level vulns quiet from the wii days and used them here as its such a similar architecture.

I keep trying to do it via clicking the button in miiverse profiles and it persistently refuses to let me do it and keeps telling me to set it up using my friends list instead. In the end I just gave up trying.

Yep, and a card explaining the Premium Network stuff, but without a code to input that I could see so I assume it determines that automatically through some of sort of firmware check when you go online or is hardwired into the firmware during manufacturing.

I actually replied to you straight away with a link containing how to do all that manually.

I got it working in the end, you have to do it manually but more importantly you have to use an odd pair of DNS servers, they are:

    194.168.4.100
    194.168.8.100

(The other stuff should be as usual, so 192.168.0.X, gateway 192.168.0.1, subnet 255.255.255.0 etc)

So erm.. I started this update about an hour ago and the little bar is only about 10% of the way across, anybody else finding it this slow? Please tell me the last 50% is it doing the install :D

edit: Doesn't even look like you can cancel it, so I'm a bit stumped.

So apparently DPD are delivering my Wii U tomorrow, sometime, so hurray for that. However, as i'm useless with networking, i'm going to need some help getting online if I end up having the same problems as itbobby. :/

Zombi U is a bit good eh?
I'm enjoying it more than Far Cry 3.

@Gambit1977 My son is loving it; he's too busy playing ZombiU and he couldn't give a toss about not getting online, although online should enhance the experience.

@Sid-Nice the atmosphere is great. It's like 28 Days later in game form.
I'm addicted to scanning stuff! I can see how Metroid prime would work on this so well!

And like I said, I am enjoying it a lot more than FC3, which felt funny on the shooting.

I also don't get the comments on the graphics on this game. It's a launch title that actually looks pretty decent. Love the filters they use.

I haven't seen any mention at all in my local Tesco or Asda stores. A far cry from the Wii launch where they all did (heavily populated) midnight launches.
  • Deleted user 29 November 2012 20:45:35
yeah they have nothing advertised at mine either. My tescos as a sideway aisle devoted to the 360, wii, 3ds, ps3. And they do sell consoles. It might be worth a punt going up and just seeing if they do have one.
