I forget what my total time played is but I'll round it to 5 days (120hrs ish). THD was approx 8 times that.

I often wish that my reflex Trials skills were wiped to 0 so I could learn anew, but then again I wouldn't swap those THD memories for anything.

    seconded. Go buy it now!

And good work on the platinums. extremes get a lot easier with practise. Make sure you watch replays too

I know they're bringing the new Trials to the PC, but anyone play the old Trials recently (Trials 2: Second Edition, the Steam one)? Feels WEIRD!

    @Ironlungs76

I know what you mean, the fun I get out of track central is finishing extreme/ninja tracks.

The other way is to find hot lap challenges on custom tracks which makes you spend more time on the tracks.

There are just so many good tracks that you treat them like fast food :)

Someone reassure me and tell me colosseum is hard to platinum.

It'll make me feel better about taking 2 hours to do it :$

I found it hard to 0 fault with a respectable time at first, nevermind platinum. Probably took me well over an hour to finally platinum it, over 2 sessions.

Once you remember the track and the potential risks it isn't too hard, but there are a lot of bits that can trick you if you go too fast

Been trying to get platinum on an extreme track, hard work. Not sure I'm up to the task.

Think I've developed deep vein thumb-bosis, my hands are numb, the xbox froze...thought that might be a sign for me to stop for a bit -_-

I've set a nice time on the BMX track 'Cauldron trails' if anyone wants a little challenge :)

God that wheelie achievement was a bitch, its been years since I've had the 15 minute warning pop up and 250 fault warning.
Oh and fuck that clown, srsly! That laugh will haunt my dreams.

If you're having trouble with it I found it easier on the bmx.

Platinumed straitjacket on the bmx. The track really does feel better suited to the gecko bike.

@Gartt - I had a go on it and tried the scorpion and phoenix. Is it wheelying from the last checkpoint to the finish line on the first track? If so its bloody difficult...

I got that slam dunk achievement without any guides yesterday, I was very pleased with myself! Saw the raft behind, thought hmmmm, wonder where that goes...that ball looks interesting...oooooh, over shot. wonder if i go on top...BOOM. slam dunk. I was very excited.

@andytheadequate there's a red line after the final checkpoint, you have to wheelie from there. If your front wheel touches the floor you'll hear a clown laughing.

@Petulant_Radish - what level is that on?

@gartt- might give it a try but I struggled in the five minutes I spent on it...

@andytheadequate on the skill games, the climbing challenge one, there's a raft behind where you start, get on it and it floats backward to start you on your amazing journey. I'll leave you to figure the rest!

@Ka-blamo I didn't know it existed, I only ever look at all that stuff once I've finished a game (or tracks in this instance) but saw it and thought it might be something as there's loads of hidden things in thier games.

I was pleased with a time I posted on 'high level degree' but It was only 132nd in the world. Its basically the best I can do with that technique, so was hoping for higher, nevermind :)

    How do the rankings work?

As I've gone back to Evo to finish up the missing platinums, I've platinum'd all the tracks including 2 extremes and the rest(in extreme) gold, I can see people above me in the world rankings with no platinums with just golds :/

    Do tournaments count towards it?

Tournaments count. Skill games don't though (although they do on HD)

The leaderboards only show the lowest medal they have for a set of tracks. They may have all platinums for the hard tracks except for 1 track they have a gold on, but on the leaderboards it will show as gold.

Also, fewer faults is worth a lot more points on the leaderboards than better times

You better not be beating my times Ka-blamo! Mainly because I have other games to play this weekend and I don't want all my time taken up with trying to beat back my times from you :)

Thanks for the info guys :) grrr fucking tournaments, nevermind.

@L franko, I'm planning on just getting platinum on everything first. Then once I've done that I'll start going for the juggular and posting proper times :p

It won't be this weekend so you can relax :)

PS we need another EG trials competition!

Just platinum'd Dark City Run and topped the friends list, plus I had a GF squawking in my ear the whole time, which wasn't easy.

Starting any extreme track with anyone around isn't wise i've realised, you get Trials Tourette's and whenever anyone tries to talk to you your responses aren't usually pleasant. :)

Edit: just platinum'd the Wreck and topped friends list, I think something has clicked in my brain......I'm a man possessed!

Thanks :) I'm not looking forward to the tournaments, to be honest I don't think they should even be on Trials, I think it's a lazy feature by the developers and certainly don't think they should go towards rankings, but thats just my worthless 2 pennies.
