If its been deleted just because of people being morons, then that's stupid.

Just delete the posts that are causing the problem, don't kill the whole thread.

Don't threads go if the OP emo quits? Many other threads have gone too.

I'm about 80% through Uncharted 3 and was really looking forward to reading that thread when I finished the game :(

Oh, I didn't know that. A few other threads I've been following seem to be missing too, so I guess they must have all been started by the same person. That's a big shame. Thanks for explaining it, chrisno21.

    Definitely.

So come the grand final of The Apprentice 2012 and I could throw a hissy fit and the thread would disappear? Daft situation to be in.

I don't know if it's even worth starting a new one since most people have probably moved on by now, and all the first opinions etc aren't going to repeated.

Considering the 79p treasure map for my second playthrough. These sorts of things aren't really my cup of tea (pay the devlopers £3 to unlock all the cars in NFS or whatever - surely that just ruins the fun of a game?) - but - I'm thinking it might make my second playthough actually more fun.

Anyone else buckled? What's it like?
It's ok. Most of the treasures still require a bit of searching, but for 79p it'll probably make your second playthrough more fun.
I bought it looking forward to topping up my missed items, started a new game - on hard this time, it asked me to 'choose a save slot' so I picked the same one as last time (I don't need two, do I), all my fucking trinkets gone.

    :-(

It seemed so logical - I did want to start a new game. Why can't save states be additive?

They were on the other Uncharted games. It asked you if you wanted to carry items over.

So what's the bobby moore here then with starting a new game? New save? Or just chapter selects?

Give yourself 5 or gig, you're worth it.

But then do you have select the next chapter manually?

@Zizou FC Create a new one! I'm sure people will be happy to discuss it again. I've only just got round to starting crushing.

Finished my first playthrough last night, yay! Wonder if Dante might show up again in another game since he didn't explicitly die. Talking of which, Chase turned into a bit of a psycho by the end of it.

Like a few other people I was wondering about the map pack but I'm not sure if it would be worth it really. I've apparently got 78% from my first playthrough and there were a couple that I know where they must be or I spotted before accidently triggering a cutscene so couldn't get them. I've still got to play through on crushing so hopefully I'll pick up a few more doing that.

I'm not sure if I ever actually made a comment on the QTEs, but if I did I take it all back. So utterly frustrating! At least with button presses I know if I did it wrong and how to correct my mistake, but with these screen swipes I swear I did it right (and speedily) and yet the game disagrees.

In short, those curved swipes are evil! [Spoilers for last chapter follow in my request for help]

The first two attempts I must have been doing something right, because it accepted them on the bridge, but the final swipe to send the ex-general onto the burning bridge) was apparently not entered correctly either time, and now it doesn't even recognise the first curve when I do it. No idea what was different from the first time. I've tried a few slightly different ways of inputting it to no avail. Any tips?

    Any tips?

Regading the QTE's. Agree. See my post on previous page.

    Tips.

Place vita on flat surface that it won't slide about on and use both hands.

Daft that the only way I was able to play this part of a handheld game was to not hold the console :)

I'm having the same issues too. I found the best way was to do this or just hold the top and bottom of the vita with one hand swipe with the other.

I think the rear touch pad is inferring with the swipes? As on the boat sections you can use either. PITA either way though!!!

Finished this last week and, despite being rather let down by the end section, really enjoyed it. It doesn't have the wow factor that 2 had, but it's an absolute marvel to play such a game on a handheld.

Currently starting my second play through in order to mop up some shiny trophies.

At a wild guess it will have disappeared when Ecosse got banned. Along with most of the Wii section.

To add to these tips, I've had another go yesterday and found that the best way to do this was to sit the Vita on something, but also use very fast swipes. I found that to be the most responsive.

Just starting my play through on Crushing now. Not sure how long I'll survive!!!

I found that the harder the difficulty level, the faster the swipes in QTEs have to be. When I started the first QTE final fight on Crushing, I died three times on the first swipe, because I was making them too slow (which I believe is OK on the lower difficulties). Annoying, this.

Started this last night. Climbing/shooting by the book but I love the way they've implemented the collectibles into the pages of Drake's journal. The mix of pick-ups, rubbings and photos relating to certain topics which when completed will reward you with a trophy? Just my cup of tea!

dont know why people play on these hard/crushing modes. Just play the game as its meant to be played rather than going through bags of frustrating gameplay.
