Right, had a search and can't find any similar thread on this, so appologies if there's any duplication.|
Just finished Half Life 2 Eps. 2 which I'd felt in no rush to play knowing the Valve had originally planned a trilolgy of HL2 Episodes. What I didn't realise was that I'd be left with such a drammatic cliffhanger of an ending I can't believe they've gone and killed-off Eli Vance! Noooo!
We now haven't seen a new HL since 2007, which is a shocking amont of time to be left hanging on such an ending. Valve's talk of no traditional SP games hints at some changes to the HL formula or even a move away from the series, which would be a real shame. Half Life 2 Eps. 2 demands a sequel.
This got me thinking of other titles that obviously really need a sequel. A follow-up to Shenmue 2 is an automatic inclusion for anyone who played and enjoyed the originals. Plenty of people have mentioned Enslaved as a recent example.
So any others you'd like to see follow-ups to?
I'm thinking more narrative based games, particularly those left with open/ambiguous/crap endings.....
Why look, it's a blog:
