I'm quite gutted Nintendo haven't supported the Virtual Console with more Gameboy games. I know we've had Shantae and the two Zelda games recently, but i'd love some more variety. Are they not selling too well?

I'd love to get Dr. Franken again.

Traded it in along with Links Awakening for Command & Conquer on PC all those years ago.

I'd like Tetris Blast too if it's anything like Super Tetris 2 & Bombliss.

    Love bombliss

There's a video on Youtube for AiRace Speed. I've not played the originals, but I quite like the look of this one.

That does look kind of nice. The only thing that seems to compare right now on the 3DS is Vector Racing, which was kind of underwhelming. Hopefully this can help make up for the lack of an F-Zero sequel on the machine so far.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is currently 18 on the eShop, for anyone interested. Not a bad price at all, if you ask me. It's only around for a few days though, I think.

It's also on sale on the Wii U eShop, but it's 25 on there.

I need some help. I activated a product code (a game) through the Nintendo website, all went OK.
I bought a new 3DS and now, when I want to download the game to my 3DS, it won't recognize the code and there is nothing in the "titles I've downloaded" section. What should I do?

What do you mean you activated a product code on the Nintendo website? I can't think of any product code you put into the website to unlock any game, except the Animal Crossing recommendation thing.

Licensed for a single console unfortunately Cosmo. Gone forever.

Sorry if I'm not clear, not a native speaker of English... I activated a game (through the PC) by entering its code on the Nintendo website, they ACCEPTED it and now it's on my list of registered Nintendo products. The game is Fire Emblem Awakening.
Just today I've bought a 3DS hoping I would play that game on it, but it won't allow me to download. WTH?

Ah, that code. Unfortunately it's as Murbal says, games are locked to the console you buy them on. Those codes are just for reward points. Nintendo eShop's are very backwards in that regard.

Is your 3DS registered to the same Club Nintendo account?

    Yes, it is.
So basically what you mean guys is that if I registered the game through the 3DS, it would allow me to download it?

I wouldn't have thought you could put a download code into the PC though, just a registration code. They're different things.

That said, when you purchased digitally on the eshop now it will automatically register the game to your linked Club Ninty account.

It really depends on what code you're referring to. If it's one of the codes you get in a boxed game, then those are only ever for reward points. If it's a code for downloading the game like GAME.co.uk sell, it shouldn't have worked on PC so I'm not sure what's up there.

I'm sorry, I'm your officially registered Stalker Parrot Murbal. I say what you say in a different way and a bit more wrong :)

You should sort this out, Murbal, otherwise I shall be forever posting similar things.

Bah, it's probably as you say. I was given the code by a fellow forumite. But it's really perplexing when I go to Club Nintendo and it says there:
    My Registered Games & Systems:

    Nintendo 3DS

    Fire Emblem: Awakening

So I have a registered game that I cannot play. Nice.

Your reward account is separate to anything else. It doesn't make sense really, but that's how it is.

People went through a stage of offering up registration codes when it came to the 'so many games' promotion - if you registered 3 specific codes you got a free game download. Might have been why they were offering it up. Hope it didn't cost you.

Steamworld dig is down to 6.39 from 7.99 until end of today. Only just spotted it so jumped straight on it. Promotion was only for a few days...

That's quite a price tag, but I remember the trailer boasting quite a lot of features. Not sure if many will bite at that price, though!

Just a heads up for anybody not already in the know. Picross e3 hits the eShop on thursday. Rather enjoyed the first two games and so will definitely be picking up the third.

What are the sales like on 3DS? I've only had mine for a week, but so far it seems like most of the stuff being discounted is just obscure shovelware? Do they ever discount first party retail titles? (i.e. so they're less than the "10 extra because of convenience") If so, is there ever more than one on sale at a time?

In general, the store doesn't seem like a perfect bit of software either. It constantly crashes and I couldn't tell you how to find interesting stuff like Crimson Shroud or Kokuga without resorting to the search function? (Though at least they have a goddamned wishlist. Been waiting for Sony to provide that basic functionality for a half a decade).

There are sales quite frequently. I'm fairly sure Ocarina of Time even ended up cheaper than any shop was selling it for at the time, so they do have sales or more popular first party stuff.

Yeah the store isn't the best, both in terms of layout and prices. Cheaper eShop and VC games do get discounted from time to time, and I think full-price games do too, though they still end up being more expensive than retail.

I bought Resident Evil Revelations for 14.99 a couple of weeks back and as Monsieur Forks has said, OoT was going for 19.99 briefly.

The US currently has a Zelda sale (only on Virtual Console titles) in the run up to the new game's release - I expect/hope we'll have something similar.
