This thread is to discuss it, what to expect and updates in the future.
Heres a little video of what it will look like

You can see here its a lot better then the wii shopping channel in that you can search easier, watch videos, look at screenshots, download demos and read/write user reviews.
Details of what is actually out for the eShop launch are not confirmed but this is some of what to expect.
Internet Browser
Nintendo went with Netfront instead of Opera this time. Not much info yet but apparently you can use it whilst still in game via the home menu
3D Classics/Virtual Console
Right now the games we know about are:
Excitebike (nes), this is updated in 3D and is going to be free in japan and hopefully europe with the may update
Zelda: Links Awakening
Super Mario Land
I am not sure if these will be in 3D or not.
On the virtual console you can expect games from the game boy, game gear and turbografix
There was a video from an E3 or TGS that had a number of different titles shown such as the original metroid but I cant find it right now.
3DSware
Games specifically made for digital distribution on the 3ds
Not much announced yet except Megaman Legends 3: Prototype
This should be out with the may update
I think a new version of flipnote studio might be on its way later
DSiware
Every DSiWare title will be available on the 3DS eShop at launch and anyone with a DSi can transfer all there purchases to the 3DS.
I missed out on the DSi so I am not an expert at all on this but there are some great games and some creative things as well
Flipnote studio (animate flip books and share online)
Rytmik (for making music)
Even something that lets you program in BASIC
The best place to look at what is available could be http://dsiware.nintendolife.com/ as I think they have reviewed every DSiWare game released so far.
If people who used DSiWare would like to recommend some of the games they played that would be appreciated.
