I like that I don't have to remember the combinations of stuff to be able to craft anything. Love this so far.

Registered 8 years agoThis is an awesome game, suffers from just-one-more-go syndrome. Though I have yet to find a single rare item or even a chest with nothing in it, and that's after 10+ hours.
As well as Metroidvania style titles it reminds me of something Apogee and other shareware outfits would have put out in 90s. -

How do you dig? As far as I can tell the controls allow me to move, jump and thrown my pick axe away. I can't find any instructions either.

Space = Jump
Q = Throw Item
1-0 or Scrollwheel = Hot Bar Items
Esc - Inventory and Crafting menu with options altering depending if you're near a crafting table/forge/anvil/alchemy station -

Registered 10 years agoSo, after beginning with a large world I started a small one his evening with my character. I hadn't realised the world size options were so far removed from eachother - on a small world everything's just so much more condensed.
I've found two chests in my entire time on my large world, on the small one I found three within the first 15 minutes and more since then. Coincidence? Maybe. Though I also hit the lava layer in the time it took me to get to the secondary rock one in the first world, and the initial dirt cave layer was almost a formality. I hadn't realised it affected the actual layer size and such rather than just the width of the world. -

Registered 8 years agoCompletely addicted now. Haven't been this hooked on a game for ages. Found a cool boomerang weapon deep underground. Got a grappling hook now as well, which is awesome for exploring caves. -

The walls tile is a bit patchy in it's implementation and you can end up sticking loads really close to each other. I think the tile looks like it's three blocks wide but you can stick them up in something like 0.25 block increments.
