I'd recommend reading the Wiki too. I was a bit lost for the first 30min or so but after realising how big the game was (or wide, or tall) and how many items there were to find/craft it's really stuck it's hook in.

Trying not to look at the crafting as I like the surprise of flicking through the build list once I've returned from adventuring and find something new. Depth Meter was an awesome example of this. Page
