I won stuff at a table quiz last week, so was able to pick up enough Microsoft Moon Monies for the season pass without opening my wallet. Pirate's Booty is currently at 98%.

    Bring it :D

I'm getting very sick of the Wildlife Preserve. I'm on the main mission for Roland, but have yet to get enough time to get through the whole area in one go (disrupted by life the last two occasions), not realising that for some reason whenever I restart the game (even though the game saves) you are back at the start of the area every single time. Gah.

Last night I had time to crack it and the game fucking crashed (PS3 version - first time this has happened) just as I was getting to the end of the area...

Why are the save points not working the same as per other areas of the game? It's really doing my head in :(

@mikeck - the Wildlife Preserve is an odd area I found. I really enjoyed it aside from the complete lack of vending machines for the last 50% of the area or so.

I tried running back to a machine yesterday to flog some gear only to find that the skags etc were re-spawning as I ran back so gave it up as a bad idea.

As a general rule of thumb, if you quit out you are automatically put right at the entrance of the zone you were last in when you boot it back up again, which can make certain later stages completely painful if you've not got long to play.

Also, I've now hit lvl 50.

The BNK3R boss was a complete twat this time around, I must have lost 750k+ on respawns/ammo expenditure.

I think that's pretty much it for me on BL2 as I can't really be arsed to finish NG+ further than where I've got to (Roland just got killed so I'm fairly close to the end).

I haven't overly enjoyed my trip to BL2 but I might have a go at Terramorphus (sp) at some point assuming the urge to loot overcomes me.

Single player level 50 against Terramorphous?

    You will die. Seriously.

Got to true vault hunter mode finally... Can't be bothered to do it all again frankly. The first major mission i.e. escorting claptrap to the dragon shaped ship, is taking ages and I just don't have the patience to do these big story missions again. The save system is a bit flawed that way, in that it starts you all the way back at the beginning. I don't currently have a few hours to slog through it in one go...

So, I've now moved onto Blood Dragon which is pick up and play fun at it's best!

This was definitely a great game, maybe I'll come back to it in a few months but think I'm done for now.

    :D

I might go and have a look at it at least in that case rather than get any hopes up of ever beating it (seeing as BNK3R was nigh on the limit of breaking my controller).

Terramorphous is definitely not designed to be fought alone. Get some buddies to help you out if you can.

I bought the season pass for steam last night for 14 (from GmG)not touched this game since I sunk 86 hours into it (according to steam) last year.

Got totally burnt out part way through TVHM so left it. Not touched any of the dlc so looking forward to that.

You'd be best finishing TVHM first. You'll be overlevelled for the DLCs, I think.

In TVHM the DLC caps at level 50, I think. Caps at 30 in normal mode.

I think I'm at level 37 with my character. Does the dlc not scale to your level?

It does, but only up to a certain level depending on what mode you're on. At 37, I assume you're on TVHM. So the DLC will scale up to level 50.

It depends on the DLC, but in TVHM, they all scale to 50. In normal mode, the pirate DLC was around 30, but Hammerlock was 35. I guess so it rolls onwards for people still on P1 who can play them all in sequence, and Tiny Tina's DLC will scale to 37 or similar.

I sunk a few hours into the captain Scarlett dlc last night. It was quite challenging actually as I don't have any weapon that absolutely kicks ass. I can take down enemies easy enough but I have to be careful.

Really enjoying it though. Can't wait to carry it on later. I'll then probably go and do blood dragon before heading back for the other dlc.

Nice bit of Legendary Loot Midget farming today. Got a Bitch and Legendary Soldier class mob as well as 3 Ancient Eridium Relics.

Bleeding, Rabid Stalkers are a pain though.

Yeah. Still, at the moment, I'm able to contain them with my slag rocket launcher, Hyperion shock machine pistol, and then fire SMG. I've never been certain about Hyperion weapons (outside the CC) due to the accuracy feature, but at short to medium range with these pistols (I run one on my Mechromancer), they are almost as good as SMGs, and you don't burn your ammo twice as quickly.

just about to start this game coop with istandfreed. What are the most fun players to start with? Is there any one to avoid that turns out to be shit?

    Depends on what you want.

Commando is all about Gun Damage and His Turret. Reliable but a tad boring.
Siren - Elemental Damage, Crowd Control & Team Healing/Revives
    Gunzekerker for Rampaging and Tanking
Assassin for Melee, Has a steep learning curve but is a lot of fun. He's an awful sniper.

If you are just starting and playing co-op, you really can't go wrong with a Siren/Gunzerker team.

If its going to be strictly 2 players, then yes, Siren + Gunzerker is the best combo.

CC mobs with Siren, mow'em down with Gunzerker. Its definitely the most balanced when it comes to 2 players combos.

:) finally had a quick look at that, looks fun. Hopefully when it's released it'll give me the kick up the arse I need to get back to it. Still not even started Sir Hammerlock's dlc yet.

Great session today after 2 weeks away from Borderlands 2. Seemed everything was dropping Eridium. Then Tumbaa dropped the Deliverance for me, my first legendary with Kreig.

Kreig's Release the beast top-tier skill is hilariously OP at the moment. If you have <33% health you can go into action skill mode, gain 100% extra damage, 50% damage resistance and you regen all your health back (not to mention that you get full health for every kill during action skill). Once its combined with other skills such as silence the voices, Krieg can punch massively above his weight.

Oh, did I mention that you can do this over and over as long as your health drops to below 33% without killing you before you hit the action skill button (which it will almost always do due to the odd way damage works)?
