    If you trying to spawn Verm without four players and have the pirate DLC. I suggest visiting either Hyperius or Gees arena. As soon as enter their respective arenas the game will scale to four players. This will last until you save & quit.

    This makes spawning Verm a lot easier, however it will make Verm and his varkid family much much tougher.
    Interesting. So that works for the rest of the game too? I go to fight one of them, then it puts me in 4 player mode?

    Don't even need to fight them simply enter the arena and walk out. The game will be scaled to four player until you save & quit.

    I currently doing TVHM with my Mechromancer. Found it pretty easy to begin with, but that it's ramped up recently (lvl44 about to go to Opportunity). The main reason seems to be that the shields are a bit gash. I'm currently using an absorb shield with about 14k capacity and 24% absorb change and it gets ripped through like paper, but I'm still seeing lvl 43-44 shields in vendors with less than 10k capacity.

    Even at level 50 I use a shield that only has about 20k capacity. I find no matter how big your shield is, you'll still get cut down instantly by a lot of enemies.

    Even so, I don't die all that much. You can learn how to stay alive by using your action skill effectively, and knowing how to get the most out of second winds. Carry a rocket launcher at all times, as it will save you during fight for your life. Some (maybe all) characters have skills that improve your abilities when in FFYL mode, and those skills shouldn't be underestimated. My personal favourite is the commando's ability to throw grenades when you're down. If you combine this with homing grenades, you can sling a bunch of them and something will likely find a target.

    There's also gameplay aspects to FFYL. If your shields go down, often it's better to charge at an enemy head-on than hide. If you run for cover and as you get there you go down, you're fucked. Most enemies die really quickly so if you get in their face and they take you down, at least you'll have your gun in their torso so you can get a second wind before they run and hide.

    Ha yeah it's a different mindset to most shooters. Getting into cover is generally a bad idea if you're in trouble and rocket launcher is ace when you're downed. About the only time I use it :)

    @ecureuil

    Cheers. I'll have to keep my eyes open for a good Roboteer clase mod and Action Skill relic, as my Deathtrap is kicking ass when it's out.

    Stacking Anarchy pretty much forces me into being in enemies faces. Even when I'm low on Anarchy, my weapons are chosen on damage and fire rate, rather than accuracy.

    Advice from the forum please.

    I completed the main campaign as the Assassin a little while ago but didn't do every side quest. I was wondering wether the start the campaign again with a fresh character (suggestions are welcome, I was considering the Mechromancer) or do a run on TVHM.

    What do you reckon?

    @Fourwisemen If you're happy with your assassin, I'd suggest starting over in TVHM. It's the shortest way to lvl 50 too. Mind that all quests will be reset though. So no fast travel stations from the beginning

    @Folker The reason for possibly starting with a fresh character was due to maybe making the second play through more interesting, having to use a new strategy.

    I rarely play a game through twice, especially something with this much content. Of course, there is the option of the DLC with my assassin which may be more entertaining.

    @Fourwisemen

    What level is your Assassin at?

    I started the Captain Scarlett dlc, post Warrior with my lvl34 Axton and found I was very over levelled.

    And, how did you spec you Zer0? If you were mainly a sniper, Gaige will be a refreshing change for a playthrough.

    I di'd pirate high 20s and was perfect.

    I think it's about 35 aswell. I did spec it mainly as a sniper, although got a pistol that fired an old school spread shot that wasted pretty much everything in front of it, so the sniper rifle became secondary.

    Getting such a great pistol completely changed my playstyle, in some ways to the detriment of enjoyment because it was that strong. After that there wasn't a single gun of any variety that felt like it did the business, hence thinking of starting again to see what other goodness may be dropped.

    Give torque and pirate a wide berth on normal mode at anything higher than mid 20s I'd say. You will get pretty much no challenge at level 35, you'll be 5 levels higher than the hardest baddies.

    Hamnerlock different though. I was level 31, Jesus it was hard.

    Hammerlock is designed to be played after the main storyline. So I think the enemies go up to about level 35 in that in playthrough 1.

    Was going to buy the soundtrack and they don't include the music from Southern Shelf.

    Bizarre.

    Does all the DLC scale to your level on TVHM or does it have set levels? I'm currently lvl35 so would like something that's at the right level.

    I'll never get my Orc looking the same again.
