Well, I dunno. Maybe it can happen that way too. But this is the way I was told to exploit it. I think it's a similar bug/exploit to the talking gun voices moving over to other guns. Except in this case actually useful.

And massively overpowered. The Bee has nothing on the sort of damage this shit can dish out.

I picked up a flamey semi-auto rifle earlier that doesn't seem to have any recoil. I love it but it sure can blitz through ammo.

It only did 556 damage but it was so accurate that when coupled with my new amp shield I tore through sawtooth canyon like a boss.

Looked around the net and can find nothing, so I thought I'd ask here...

Do any PC players know if the patch that fixes the badass glitch restores lost skins and heads from a) badass challenges, and b) completed mission rewards?

Borderlands 2 is down to 14.99 in the Steam sale, and it works out to just under 12 each for the 4-pack.

@Kujata - I believe it's just badass challenges, the mission rewards are lost unless you re-earn them.

@Mayhem64 - Thanks for the clarification. Was hoping they could mine my questlog to get those back. Guess they are gone forever :(

    Verdicts of the DLCs chaps?

I've played both (in the 'wrong' order), and I'd say Scarlett feels like it's had more attention lavished on it. The bosses are better too (haven't fought the raid bosses)

In Torgue, myself and another tried the newest raid boss and basically found him to be a complete dick....

I like them both. The Pirate DLC is the better of the two but I still enjoyed Torgue a lot. It's exactly what I'm looking for from DLC tbh, and the timing of the release is very good. I wouldn't care about any of this if I had to wait until 2013 for it.

What's the recommended starting level for Mr Torgue? Does it scale to your level at any time, or is it distinctly post-game material?

Starting to regret not picking up the season pass now.

It's supposed to scale to your level. On PT1 the enemies will max out at level 30.

Does that mean that if I started it in PT2, but almost immediately after finishing PT1, then enemies will be at my level (assume 36-38)?

Yep. Can also be a level or two higher, like myself. I found the Scarlett DLC a real struggle to begin with.

Thanks - my plan is to finish PT1 and then move into the DLC as PT2. Assume I won't be able to access the DLC until I get to Sanctuary...

    @Flying_Pig
i would think you could use the fast travel at the start of play through 2, to access the dlc area.

i realy enjoyed this DLC,more than the first, even the raid boss was fun to work out and beat, the 2 raid bosses from the first dlc sucked ass! especially as it took me 5 times of beating master gee, before i was able to get credit for it, as it kept freezing, after the 2 bloody hour wait for him to die.

@Flying_Pig - As kob says you can fast travel from Claptrap's lair.

game is now doing my nut in, through 2 play throughs and not a sight of and orange item. Loots drops are pish with it being mostly white or green guns.

Finished the first DLC today, really enjoyed it. Was given my second orange drop at the end and I'm eally enjoying the mechromancer anarchy tree. Also the Bioshock easter egg was great.

Went back to TVHM with my gunzerker and I'm finding it a bit of a slog after having so much fun with the mecromancer/anarchy tree.

Ive finally finished the game on playthrough 1. Not a single orange but got some other weapons that do some seruous damage.

Still love my firey burst sniper purely for the zero recoil.

Should I do the dlc now on TVHM or do a 2nd playthrough and then the dlc?

If you finish P1 anywhere above level 32, then you might find the DLC a bit easy. You could start TVHM and then dive into the DLC for a challenge. Problem there is, the weapons from P1 are pitiful to the damage you need in TVHM, so you'd need to replace them fairly quickly.

Had x3 oranges drop for me in total with x2 of them coming within 2 levels of each other (23-25). This is SP btw. Maybe i've just been lucky so far.

out of interest did you have the vault hunter relic active

Vault Hunter Relic makes very little difference. I played to level 50 without using it, and I played with another character and I used it all the way through. There was no noticable difference. The character that didn't use it actually ended up finding more oranges (3 in total, compared to none with the character that used it). The loot is just shite, you'll have to get used to it.

    Wrong thread.

I haven't got into this game as much as I wanted to.

I'm level 25/6, I just run out of bullets/don't deal enough damage whatsoever.

The story gets in the way, especially when you want to change missions, have to wait for someone to say their piece then you can switch.

My 25 hour save with zero got corrupted there for some reason.

    Raging.

Don't think I've the heart to start over again unless anyone wants to co-op with me on the PS3.

It's worth starting over. Zero is the worst character imo.

I downloaded the torgue stuff last night. What a time the update and DLC took. I thought the rush would have eased by now.

I still have my BA rank intact thankfully. Now I just need to stop playing other stuff and get the Scarlett DLC done and crack on with the new stuff! I also need to rank up more. I'm only lev 38 and I want my nuke turrets dammit! I would re-spec, but it might leave me a bit short in survivability and damage output.

    No.

It entirely depends on each characters skill tree. Zero's melee tree is far better than some of the other characters lesser trees for example.

Clearing the Bloodshed tree and putting points into some of the stealth focused middle tree abilities that can stack with your current ones (the ability for dealing extra damage to unaware enemies stacks with the one which deals more melee damage when attacking an enemy from behind, for example) meant I could one shot melee most Badass level enemies when using my ability, while stealing health, while recharging the cooldown, and while invisible.

Think about where you spread your spare points after clearing Bloodshed and Zero can wipe out an entire swarm of enemies in seconds. Neither my Mechro (lvl 25), Commando (34), or Siren (36) can come close to the devastation a Bloodshed focused Zero can cause.

I have mechro and commando at level 50, siren at 40 and assassin at 35. I just find the assassin the least fun and least effective by a long way. He's great in very specific situations and dull in most others, he dies easier than any other character and that's a fact, he's the glass cannon of the group. And I find deception to be the most boring of all the skills. I'm sure you can spec him to be great or whatever, but I'm pretty confident most people playing this game will have more fun with a different character. Especially the more casually inclined like the guy I was replying to.
