    @Rodriguez

    Old Mr Quims name got banned or someone complained. Probably banned :) so had to rename him. My Arisen and main pawn are both fat dwarves. May try and find 2 other dwarf type pawns for the full set

    Have to complete the game with these two just to see them in the end game :)

    Plus have given him a new sword, maybe switching him to warrior sometime soon or Mage. Not too sure

    Wow, really!? It's fairly well disguised slang [;)], I can't believe they did that, the bunch of mewling quims! I thought the only people that could see the 'real' name of your pawn were those on your Friend List anyway e.g. 'Orenda' is named 'Ozma' from DD's in-game name list for those hiring her outside my FL!?

    Anyway, I digress, Uncle Ruckus is with us now and ready to crack some skulls :D

    @Shikasama

    Sheesh, I've just come up against the second form of the boss...fecking hell he's a rock hard bastard - really not easy if you're a melee built character :(! I'm giving it a good go though!

    I've read a few Gamefaqs posts with people saying they're farming him within anywhere from 30seconds to 5minutes as Magic Archers :o Just...damn them! Time to re-spec perhaps
    ??

    Yeah I've got him on farm now. I bang it down to his room by running past him, do enough damage for the trigger in about a minute then finish him in about 20 seconds.

    It's a bit of a cheap way to do it though. Lt's just say:

    There is nothing in the gamr 4x Conqueror's Periapt and Blast Arrows can't fix.

    Well Vortexs pawn level 17 warrior helped out in a battle against a Wyren in BI. Well helped by being a distraction :) she and a level 9 fighter were doing the stabby stabby on its heart as I was knocking it down with my arrows :)

    Anyone playing this on PS3? I'm the only one playing this out of my friends so I'm all on my lonesome!

    My pawn decided to do the typical suicide thing and jump off the side of a cliff while I was in the middle of a fight. TIME FOR SLEEP!

    * Oh yeah and the rabbits around Cassaridis appear to have disappeared. I've got 3 out of the 5, I've rested loads at the tavern. Bit of a strange one... I've done the mission a few times before without any issue.

    Hah, no wonder Shitsticks only lasted a day before I was asked to rename him.
    He is now Smellycat, and the name suits him wonderfully.

    Oh man, I can feel a minor addiction kicking in with this now. Another late night when i didn't mean to. :)

    Finally sussing it out more and taking some lower/similar level pawns along to pass on some hopefully ok stuff for those others just getting into this too.

    Massive thanks to all higher level peeps who have passed some stuff my way. T'is much appreciated.

    Duff, I still only see original DD snoosnoo, so cant put anything your way yet. Get that new character on the go mate!

    @gazzy there's loads of rabbits in the woods nearby. Can't remember the name of the place but a witch (called Seline, I think) lives there.

    Witchwood. That's where I was originally going last night until i picked up some escort quest.

    Which took so long it lasted into the night. I met my first dragon in some woods. It killed the npc. :(

    On the reload we skirted round the edges of a rock face and just met loads of hobgoblins instead. Tense times. :)

    Oh that reminds me, if an NPC dies in an escort quest, are they dead forever? I may have been a little... careless :)

    Update, just killed him. Took the instead of making it easy route I took the lets make it a tougher battle by not planning it correctly route :)

    Finally defeated the boss for a second time last night, but it was crazy hard at times, even at lvl.153!? I think a change of occupation for both my main and Orenda is possibly on the cards now to mix things up a bit.

    I've also discovered that it appears you can't gift high level gear to hired pawns any more too; I tried to give fletch and Vortex some stuff last night and it wouldn't let me, especially as I have some stuff going spare annoyingly :(

    I'll travel to Gran Soren and see if I can buy you guys some decent standard gear instead.

    You definitely need lots of Wakestones if you're heading deep into BI fletch! You can guarantee something will eventually slap you down in that place! I used up 5 on the last boss alone :o!

    I just missed the obvious easy tactic which then dragged the whole battle out. So obvious near the end that I was kicking myself. Then when you knock the boss out to get some easy hits, it dropped him high up some ledge that my melee characters couldn't get to :)

    I think I'm more or les done with DA now after caining it this week.

    - Killed Death
    - Comfortabley farming the Final (and Finl Final) Boss
    - Obtained my BIS Bow and Daggers (both upgraded to the max)
    - Level 163 or something.

    So now all that's left really is to grind out a full set of BB3 gear (Shadow set I think for Ranger) but it's so random and a little bit pointless due to me doing the other stuff I don't think I'll bother.

    What a ride though. Really amazing piece of content and could well have been a game in it's own right.

    There better be a sequel.

    Yes! A sequel on new hardware where you're not quite sure what's possible yet would be amazing.

    Anyway, now I understand what this whole "post game" is about. Landed on some random level and got my arse kicked by an evil eye. Seems I have a way to go yet :) I switched my super aggressive assassin over to a more sensible mystic knight, hope he'll last a little longer.

    I remember when some of us were playing the original DD last year and I think we came to the conclusion in the thread that the term 'post game' that we'd all been using was a bit of a misnomer, especially given there's more of the story to complete after a certain event that appears to be the end - you know the bit ;)

    If anything, the real 'post game' is actually Bitterblack Isle from the Dark Arisen expansion, given the characters there talk about events and characters that would only make sense to those who've completed the main game at least once!

    Anyway, you're in the Everfall now Ardamillo, a great place to grind big enemies in order to level up and acquire lots of lovely Wakestones (DD version of FF 'Phoenix Downs' for those who don't know what were talking about!) Not only are they essential backups for facing powerful foes, but I used to farm them just to sell them back to the vendors as they are worth loads (especially if you have the gold idol in your, or your pawns, possession); a great way to bulk up your gold!

    Don't rush to hand over the Wakestones to the pawn you met either - it'll advance the story to the last part and you'll say bye bye to that area till you reach it again in NG+ if you keep playing. Enjoy the Everfall and have a crack at its multiple chambers, there's some great battles that await in there and the optional Ur-Dragon is in one of them too...

    @Shikasama

    Congrats Shika, that's an impressive list you've ticked off there ;)

    I've only got one line of health off Death so far and can't see much hope of farming that boss easily any time soon :D! I think the devs have been a bit unkind to those of us with melee style builds in BI, it really seems to favour the ranged occupations for those two bastards :cry:/whine!

    Bokur is an awesome pawn it's been great fun playing along side him/you! I'm probably going to be playing for a bit longer to try and tick off a few other bits and bobs before hanging up my adventurer cape and I'd echo what fletch said in really hoping 'Deep Down' is a working title for a new next-gen Dragon's Dogma game or at least a spiritual successor!

    In the post-game bit now. Should I keep killing the various monsters until I reach level 50 so I can head off to do the dark arisen? Or new game + for the dark arisen?

    I've been happily killing everything, well cept the Ur dragon, until I came across the golum with the medals hung around the arena. I'm a magical archer so I couldn't damage them! With two warriors and a Mage as pawns I had to given up with one left :(
