I think I got in the comfortable zone when I was ranger. Then it slid back down to 'leg it' when I went magick archer. I might just go back to ranger. Not sure why I changed really - was thoroughly enjoying ranger. Just felt curious about the other vocations.

Right back to square one sounds fun :)

I think at some point I played through every vocation. I found the game turned slightly easy when I switched my pawn from being a sorcerer to a mage so he could just heal the party all the time.

A slightly cheaty way to do it or just good tactics, eh? ;)

Uncle Vyrt is primarily a mage for healing, but he's also quite tasty at dishing out the pain too.

Oo, hang on, he might be a sorcerer actually.

Fucking hell, it's like I've not even played it, I know that little about it :)

ok so i 'finished' this and now all hell has broken loose, excellent, excellent end fight, i'm really enjoying this again.

a little scared about going forward as the very first room has a evil eye in it that i can't even damage!

I'm saving myself for the Dark Arisen release next month. Got about 25 hours into the vanilla game and then sold it when I heard about the DLC. But yeah, it was definitely my favourite retail release of last year; just felt like it got so much right in building a game world, the enemies and the combat. Can't wait for the sequel, just take as long as you need Capcom.

Looking forward to dark arisen next minth too. Just need to finish skyrim first. I can only cope with rpg's if they are spaced out a bit.

They tend to monopolise my time otherwise. :)

This is going super cheap at the minute locally (15), is it worth a shot considering I have 5 complete time sinks on the go (Demon's and Dark Souls, Skyrim, New Vegas Ultime Ed. with all the DLC and Red Dead Redemption GOTY)?

I'd say its worth a shot at that price.

I'd wait - Dark Arisen contains the full Dragon's Dogma as well as the expansion, and has already been pre-orderable for, how much was it? 16? Pick up DD: DA for 10 in a few months. ^^

Edit: fucking smileys, tryna insert themselves in my beautiful letterwords

I picked this up for a 5 in ASDA the other day, started it and got through the beginning story section etc before I was interrupted, looked decent though.

takes some getting into and a lot of the depth is only apparent after a few hours but once you're into it and wandering the woods at night by lantern light the atmosphere is unrivaled

Hell, I'm looking forward to the re release of this.
I passed first time around due to being short of cash. I still am, but this is just what I need right now.

I'm Trafford72 on PSN if anyone has Pawns for hire.

I assume my old characters will import into Dark Arisen? I must admit I hate this way of them expanding the game (which was one of my favourites from last year) ut if we're getting plenty of new contact I can see me paying the iron (well Asda) price for it.

Well, it was only 13 on Amazon way back, including the original game (not sure if DLC is included). At that price, it'd be plain cheeky not to indulge.

And yep, everything carries over via import. I dread to think what abominable creations litter the Pawn search now.

Is this going to take the form of 2 seperate games or one massive one? I liked the original demo but kept waiting for the price to drop, which only really happened when this version was announced. Glad I waited and looking forward to this a lot.
